Blessings :)
Hey friends!
Some new stuff with me...
So, I was having a very hard time yesterday, but my friends cheered me up so much yesterday and truly showed me that I have a pretty great life, and my family and friends are my biggest blessings of all...as my grandma says, we could lose it all and still have what we need if we never lose sight of God and eachother :) she is so right! Bill, Shamona, Karla, Chris, Chad, Kayla, and others all cheered me up yesterday-I am a lucky gal :)
Then I got a return phone call from the volunteering coordinator, and I come into the library for volunteer orientation on the 23rd, yay!!! :)
A silly but cool thing, I offically earned Gold level Starbucks rewards, getting a shiny new card and some coupons too, yum!
Signed up for the Turner Syndrome sisters book group on Facebook, can't wait! I wonder what we will be reading, it will be a fun way to connect with new sisters :)
Reposted my online ad for a writing group, I have a feeling this third time will be the charm to get more than one response lol...I would love to meet new people my age who write. I guess we'll see.
Please pray for my mom and grandma if you think of it, they haven't been feeling so great...anyway I think that the Lord wants me to be thankful for all He's given me, and is showing me how to be a friend :) the sun is otu these days, and I am not going to let myself stay down. I am going to try to go the church support group sometimes, or make plans like the church ladies arts and craft day this Saturday, or the swing dance lesson in the park next Friday, and not let this depression get the best of me :)
Feeling hopeful!
Love and hugs, God bless you.
