Blessed
I am blessed. As you know, my car has been in the shop. 3 days! Well, the problem was the fuse box had shorted out. The shop called me and said they couldn't find a replacement. They'd searched all the junk yards and nothing. I missed work Monday and rented a car Tuesday. When I got the rental place, all they had was a cargo van! Not something you want to drive on the highway in a cross wind that blows on my way to work. The next day, they replaced it with a little Chevy that was a good car. Today, Thursday, I called the shop and they said the car was ready and listened to what I thought would be bad news. True, they could find a box. But, they rewired the old one! In total, the car repair and the rental only cost me a little over $300. I was expecting double or triple that. Am I blessed? Very much so. I had more than enough money on the unemployment card to cover it. Plus, I have my paychecks from my new job, plus the checks from the severance package! Am I blessed? Yes indeed! God has taken care of me. For the most part, when I needed money for repairs and such, I had it or got it. Sure, I went through some financial troubles, but God was there. How about my landlord who held 2 bounced rent checks till I could get back on my feet? Blessed? Very much so. Most of you know I'm not a religious man, but I have a strong faith in God. I don't always do what He wants me to do, but He has stood by me. PRAISE BE TO GOD. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU,,,,,IN SPITE OF WHAT YOU DO. PRAISE HIM. LOVE HIM. RESPECT HIM. HE WILL COME THROUGH FOR YOU.
