Blame God
It's Easter and as is the norm, the t.v. is full of religous programming. And it seems the so-called "educational" networks want to scientify religous beliefs, and history. One of the worst ideas in some of the programs is trying to lay blame on someone for the death of Jesus. As most of you know, I have a very liberal outlook of faith. I don't believe there is only one path to God and that most faiths of the world are all one faith with variances for the culture. But, I have taken Jesus as my personal Savior, and my faith in Him and God is a simple one. Scientists have been trying for years to explain the star of Bethlehem, the burning bush, the parting of the Red Sea, and other miracles of the Bible. Must there be a "scientific" reason. After all, the science of man is the science of man, not God. God does not have to adher to the science prinicples of man. He can change it whenever he wants. He can put a star in the sky. He's done it millions of times. He can change the weather. After all, He invented it. He can change man. He made us. Remember? Now, what does this all have to do with who killed Jesus. If you want to blame someone, blame God Himself. He made Jesus and let Him dwell among us. And he made Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. If He had not wanted Jesus to die on the cross, nobody could have touched Him. But, He loved us, His creation, so much that he sacrficed His Son to save us. He gave the ultimate gift. So, if you want to blame someone for Jesus' death, blame God. He loves us that much!
