Black Cats and Broken Mirrors
After the flash flood the other night, I would come home to a blank big screen the next day. I fiddled with the thing... has signal, when I turn channels it does show the channel and show that SHOULD be there... but there is blank silence. No code to tell me what is wrong... so I checked online for troubleshooting. It said to make sure the connections are secure.... one problem... there are 85 freaking lines back there. (He had playstation 2, dvd player that doesn't work anymore... cable convertor...wii... )
I am getting a bit better with this. Now I only get overwhelmed and hopeless for a minute before I now understand that I will deal with it ... and I am trying to find the humor in. I really do think that God does have humor too (which I DO NOT always appreciate. haha) I have thought my patience was getting worse as time goes on... I have wanted things fixed yesterday forever. Yet he seems to stretch them out for 85 years.
At any rate, I am holding my breath and looking very cautiously before any sudden moves. Each day seems to hold another dilemma/crisis. How many more days/weeks/months til I get a smooth sail with some happy carefree times???? I'm taking wagers here??? LOL

As you may remember I stopped watching tv going on four years now. Second best decision I’ve made to feel freer. Maybe it’s a sign? Quiet has its purpose in healing
Haven't had to go cold turkey yet. LOL Have another in the bedroom But it has given me more time to get stuff done. Yes Jason... I do think it's a sign to limit... but I can't go cold turkey. Not til I have something (or someone ) to help occupy my time. (wink, wink)
When I’m doubt, I just reboot (cable or satellite) depending on what you have. Seems like 90% of the time that dies the trick for me. The other 10% of the time, I just set it aside until I can muster up the time and the patience to call the service desk.
I guess the good thing about meeting these little annoying challenges is that you are doing it! You are managing problems and you are still standing. That counts for something!

I wish I could come help sort it out but I know nothing of gaming so all that would be put in trash can. LoL
I feel your frustration!! There are days when I yearn for the times when I thought I was bored!! When were those again? You'll get everything figured out, you are smart and very capable! I hope you have some smooth sailing ahead.
