Well, Halloween's coming up. I'm gonna try to miss it. It's the first time I've been off for Halloween and not sleeping. Gonna turn the porch light off and all but one light in the house. I'll watch the Stars play hockey on TV with just a small red light on. Just don't want the hassel of having to put Foxy in the bedroom every time somebody comes to the door. I know it's mean. I loved Halloween when I was a kid, but with Foxy, it's just too much. Bits and pieces of my life are having to be replaced. Nothing drastic. Had to replace my coffee maker and water kettle this week. Need to buy another set of linens. Actually wore a hole in the bottom sheet of a set! Only have one set now. Need another pair of shoes. As heavy as I am, I go through a pair in a little over a year or less. They're not no-brand shoes either. Usually Reboks. Gonna get a pair of casual shoes this time instead of athletic type. Gotta get a muffin pan. Can't make cornbread without one. The one I've got is at least 20 years old. Time to retire it. One with 6 or 8 cups. The only ones I found at Walmart had a dozen or more cups. Those would be a total waste. May need a new vacuum. Find out this weekend. Ohhhh, what an exciting life I lead!
