birthday relfections - lion's season #4

i think she's one of the most talented singers of this century. her voice is powerful, soulful and uplifting. it resonates with emotion and depth. i love annie lennox. and even though it's hard sometimes. i'm working on my list.
* i saw a hummingbird in mother's garden this morning
* i had money for brunch at a dinner and ate a delicious meal (food is a beautiful thing)
* the sun is shining and the skies are temperate and bright blue
* a pair of earrings my mother bought for me
* a butterfly brooch i bought for myself
* my relative health (also a beautiful thing)
* the love of my parents
* the love of my siblings
* the love of my friends
* the ability to see
* being able to breathe
* being able to feel deeply and truly (even if/when it hurts)
* the ability to believe sometimes
