Birthday Day.... 75

Today was a very good friend's birthday. She turned 75. She is in TOPS, works as  a pink lady at the hospital, is on the board of City History directors, is in a teacher's group that meets for lunch and travels. She's something else. And she has RA.

She hosts our socials 2x a year and is quite the decorator of events. I really do like her. She reminds me a LOT of how my grandmother was and joined TOPS when I did. She is on our TOPS board, too. 

I wished my mom would be active like that... get involved in something... anything. 

I really did enjoy lunch. 3 other ladies joined us. 

Hubby and I walked after dinner. The weather is beautiful outside w/ fall coming on... I planted burgundy mums in a pot on the front porch today. Very pretty. I do love fall colors.

My friend gave me an angel as a gift today. I love it. It's perfect. It is a courage angel / Willow Tree. I collect them. I have most of them put away ... but I need to group them in 3s thru out the house.... I do enjoy them. It's the only collection I've really kept. 

I still need to do yoga and take a quick shower... 

Great classes this morning.... 3 and I have 8 more this week... and then ten next week before we head to Colorado. I am really looking forward to the trip to Gtown and to staying in the mountains. Yay.
