Birthday and parades!
Mardi Gras time and my birthday came around the same time this year! I have enjoyed two parades! One on my BD! Went to breakfast at Shoney's early in the morning, then did some shopping for the in-laws and visited my husbands grandmother in nursing home to bring her a few things and her clean laundry! After that we went shopping for ourselves. Won't be going to parades on Mardi Gras because my husband has to be on duty then. But I haven't been going to that for a few years anyway! Maybe next year he will be off and we can ride in patrol car and throw trinkets and beads in at least one parade. I had fun two years ago doing that! Had a chance to be on a float this year but I turned it down. I just couldn't let my husband go without sleep to do it! Maybe next year for that too! Well besides being busier and a little more tired, I'm feeling good and happy!May all my friends here be safe,happy and painfree!
