Bipolar support group

yesterday I went to a bipolar support group and I loved it! I have to wake up super early when I go (like 7 am) but it's worth it. I can just take a nap when I get home. It's all people like me- you wouldn't know they were mentally ill. It's not like the hospital where everyone is drugged and drooling. They meet on the first and third Saturday of the month and then they have a Friday night group as well.
Geo and I are doing okay.. he's been better since we had our talk. He still gets mad sometimes but it's not like it was  before when I was scared  of him. He's in a lot of pain, and I know that's not an excuse to raise your voice at someone, but it's just the way he is now. He hasn't always been like that.. he used to be very caring and supportive. Lately he's been upset that when I moved here I didn't ask if I could come live with him, I just told him I'm coming. I can see him being upset about that, but that was 9 years ago and he never told me before. I just hope he sticks to his diet for the surgery. I'm worried because when he said he was going to get the gastric sleeve (as opposed to the gastric bypass) and his first response was ""yay I can have sugar!". So you can see why I'm worried. It's all up to him now.
