Biopsy Done
Well the biopsy was friday. I still feel like I was kicked in the ribs. They were going to go through the front , below my sternum, but the only way they could see the left lobe was if I took a deep breath and held it. Needless to say, after the sedative, I couldn't really do anything they told me so they went in through my ribs. The most painful part was the lidocaine. The first shot burned, the second hit my rib and I thought I was going to come off of the table, sedative or not. After that I don't remember much. I saw my liver pieces and remember the elevator and that's about it. I am recovering, slowly, and axiously waiting for my results. Hopefully it will be tomorrow. I've discovered that the hardest part about this whole damn thing is waiting. I have a few aquaintences that have gone through the treatment that keep telling me that it doesn't work and that I shouldn't go through with it but I am holding my ground. I know that I know, I am already healed through Him and this is just a journey that I must take. I know I will discover new things about myself along the way. Good things and bad, but I will succede. I know I will. I am getting more nervous as they days go by. I have to remember......just one step at a time.
