Bionic Woman Cont.
Thinking about organizing your day can also be tiring. Friends and family don't realize how much effort I put out daily. Simple things for them are difficult for me. I was a type A. I could do everything on my own. Now I have to ask for help and be willing to receive that help. Humility is in each day. Humility cause I walk oddly and to ask and receive help. Life is often uncomfortable. Do other people with MS feel this way. I am sure at one time or anothre we all do regardless of what disease you have or don't have. I just feel like it is magnified 100 times. Some days I wha to give up because I am so tired. Most days I refuse to give up. I want to stay mobil as long as I can. I want to find joy in th emidst of this crappy disease. I want to live a full life and do the things I enjoy. And the things I enjoyed are slowly slipping away. At least I have my mental faculties. The nuerologist I saw this summer said my brain looks good. So, I am at a place where I am waiting to see if this walk aide is a help. I encourage you to look at this webcast from the today show. Maybe this device will work for you too! Insurance doesn't cover it, but no $ is too much to spend if it improves quality of life. I will post my progress. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/28872531#28872531
