Big screw-up

Well, I guess I screwed up last night. Poor Mother was in a "restless" state, as hospice calls it, when she went to bed. Just couldn't get easy or comfortable or something... worrying about me at one point, moaning and moaning but without any specific complaint. Finally called hospice and they suggested giving her the Lorazapam (sp?)... and if one didn't work in 1/2 hr, give another. Well, I did but today Mother has slept in until almost noon or even later and now is still just absolutely OUT OF IT. Can't keep her eyes open, seems really dopey. I feel terrible! Should not have given her that much obviously.... but just following what hospice said. But she clearly can't handle such drugs. Live and learn... at her expense. Damn.
