Big Changes Ahead
In 2.5 days, I will no longer own the old family homestead. The inspection happened yesterday and I passed! Woot!! The new owner can legally live there. While that is a huge relief, I found yesterday that as I was transferring the utilities over to her, I felt a deep sadness. I felt loss. I felt the beginnings of grief.
The last of my personal items leave the homestead today. The last piece of heavy equipment that I'm taking with me leaves on Wednesday. Thursday at noon, we close and it's official and done and over. That chapter of my life will have come to an end, and what a beautiful, crazy, wild, busy, solemn, twisted, happy, stimulating, tumultous, growth-filled chapter it was. I became a woman at the Missouri homestead.
What and who will I become in Georgia?... I absolutely don't know... but I also can't wait to find out. I do know, however, there are indeed big changes ahead. Ok, Cosmos, I'm ready. Surprise me!

Sounds like your future is full of excitement! Lucky you moving to Georgia
I will totally appreciate the winters being milder than those typically experienced in Missouri... that's for sure. :)
