Big changes
Well, I have not written in a while. 11 days ago, Wes went to live with his dad. The promises of freedom, and whatever else have taken their toll on us. For the last two months, everytime he did not het his way, he would threaten to live with his dad. Well, eleven days ago, he did it again. I asked him if he really wanted to live with him. He said he did. I told him to pack his things and go. It was the hardest thing by far throughout this nightmare that has happened to us. His dad has been working on him since last August, and I will not compete with the lies and empty promises. I let him go to see for himself. I worry about him all the time. Blossom ball, a big dance for the middle school - kinds like a prom thing was last Friday. I went and had a really nice time. I was a chaperone along with many other parents. Did get the dance the mother son dance. That was great. Felt bad for Sara as her dad was not there. Today is mothers day. Yesterday Wes gave me flowers. Today, he stopped by for a little while, not to see me, but to check the computer and get some more things. He was going to the movies with his dad. That hurt. I am trying to remember that he is in this self centered horrible adolescent stage....but it is hard sometimes. He acts just like his dad...and that is a scary thing for me. Sara made me dinner tonight - it was wonderful. She spent alot of time on it and truly made my day so wonderful. I dont know how she has stayed as sweet as she is during all of this. Wes has hurt her by leaving as well. They are twins and I know she misses having him here. I am making sure that her friends are over often, but I worry about her as well. This whole situation is just unforgivable. I pray that Wes will realize how much I love him and that life with Sara and I is something he misses. I feel like this is a lesson he needs to learn for himself. He need to see for himself what his father has become. I cannot teach that to him.I just hope he is ok while he is learning this tough lesson. We miss him terribly..... We will see how green that grass is on the other side
