BFN today, IUI in 2 weeks, IVF in 2013!
Saw my RE today and got confirmation of the BFN. I go back in a week for monitoring and next and third IUI will probably be the week of Christmas (I should be ovulating right around Christmas eve/day). I hate how I torture myself with tiny bits of hope that maybe AF really didn't start and the bleeding is something else. The sono tech today told me my lining looked thick and it was possible to get a BFP today so I left there a little excited and started fantasizing about getting the call of a BFP and how the timing would be so perfect right before Christmas, how it would be most wonderful gift and thinking of how we'd tell our families. This IF roller coaster sucks! Anyway, depending on how the next IUI goes we'll be moving onto IVF...my first IVF!! I'm nervous and excited and a flood of emotions about it all but mostly, I just want it to result in a BFP and by this time next year, have an extra special reason to celebrate the holidays.

Hope you dont need ivf but if it happens I will be doing my last attempt at treatments in January (attempt 2.5), again hoping you dont need it.

So sorry about the confirmed BFN. I totally agree...I want off this damn rollar coaster rides and I usually love rides! I can feel the excitment at the thought of your plan and possible IVF, although I hope it doesn\'t need to get that far! Hugs and crossed fingers for your Xmas miracle!!
So sorry about your BFN. No matter what we always hold on to hope and feel the let down once we get the news. I know how you aren\'t lokking foward to an other IUI but maybe you\'ll get your miracle and if not you\'ll get to move ahead to IVF.
