Thanks for all the prayers for Shawn..God protected him completely..The tree collapsed the roof of the cab..Shawn duck which is what saved his life..Of course we believe God put the thought in his mind...His wife went down to Texas this week to take care of him..He was in so much pain, they ended up in another clinic or docto...also pulled the muscles in his back..She said he would wake up screaming bloody murder from the pain..sorta reminded me of Ken..when I would hear the blood curddle screams from the bedroom..only to find his leg in the air not able to move it...later found out the tumor on the spine causing the pain...
It's 19 months tonight since my sweet son left this world...really do hate this. Happy Shawn is alive...Oh so thankful..also so wish Ken was too...
Me drop a hugh iron bench on upper part of foot..no broken bones..just crushed and hurt like...well let you figure that one out...
Last night my sister called which made everything just so wonderful..ended up with a hugh fight..of course after she was hung up and she not having to own up to anything...I couldntbelieve she was taking mom's money from her checking account..
Been driving about an hour every morning to get Shawn's new family kids to school on time...then back home and then picking up Brents daughter from school which is 20 miles round trip..then tonight he had a service call and had to ask me to take her to her game practice another 20 miles...gezz guess people think I am super women..Oh well its my grandchildren and I sure love them and this too shall pass..just so happy that all is well and alive...just sure wishing Ken was...still the questions don't stop..
We have been without cable for a couple of days so no interent until the tonight...but taken my pills so time to sleep...again thanks so much for the love and care I have from each of you...

I hope the worst is over and that Shawn is ok. The dental stuff takes a while to fix but the PAIN should be managed with lots of compassion... I have the same nightmares as you do about Kenny... with Andy in pain... it\'s something we will never forget. It is over but never forgotten. And I will hope for your safety as you drive back and forth, back and forth, back and forth! Bless you, dear Sandi!

Sandi, I am so gald that Shawn is OK. Sorry to hear to story about your sister. One of my sisters hasn\'t spoken to me since November 2010 when I finally closed on Mom\'s house. At first I was so upset - but now I have decided if she were to put one foot on my property - we live next door - I will call 911. Take care of yourself and Remember I am always here for you.

Hi Sandi--Of course I\'m so very glad your Shawn is OK--I can\'t imagine the alternative. I, too, have another son who is alive and well (except for diabetes), and I worry about him. For me, it\'s been almost 18 mo. without our Erik. How could we loose our other precious sons? You are doing the wonderful grandma thing for your child, something all of us would do in a heartbeat--even if hard for us. They are all just so precious.

I am relieved that Shawn is ok... Just reading your journal gets me tired. My grandkids are 5 so they are not into sports yet.... Just run me ragged on weekends. Get so much needed rest.
