better now
woke up this morning to rain, sleet, and snow. had a bad day at work when I got out it was dark, cold and misting rain. Perfect that's just how I feel, dark, cold, and misty. Had TGIF chicken wings for dinner, got barbeque sauce all over this computer. Is that a "t" or a bit of chicken on the screen? My fingers are sticking to the keys. Better clean this up, if Abby comes home and sees . . . I still think that way. I still think she'll be home again. I guess I'm in denial. I started the day of the funeral. I told the friends and family at my house that I wasn't going. If I don't go it's not real. If I didn't see it then it didn't happen.
Seriously I'd better get this cleaned up now.

Denial is all a part of this terrible journey. It\'s okay. Do you hear me? It\'s okay. You will travel this road and there will be many, many messes. We are all here for you, to help you with the messes, to listen to your story, to hold you in a virtual hug. I\'m so glad you found this site. Your Abby looks like a beautiful woman. Keep writing, keep reading.
Blessings,
Linda
What your feeling is okay. All of us have either felt that way or are feeling that way now. Sometimes I\'ll do something and then think oh I better hurry up and get that finished before Richard gets here. We\'re like a big family here. We look out for each other. For me I\'ve found that journaling really helps. So like Linda said, keep writing, keep reading.
Hugs, Carla
From reading your post I think that under your pain you have a great sense of humor. I think denial is something that we all go through at some time and it is hard to come out of it because the raw truth is that our loved ones are gone. You will get past that just stay in touch with us here at DS and we will help you through it. Diane
