Better days ahead (hopefully)
It's almost been a year since my last entry. 5 long years since my divorce. So many things have happened. I'm still maintaining my sobriety, even though I haven't been attending AA meetings. I've had a few more seizures, but not the grand mal type. I wrecked my last car, then I made the decision to surrender my driver's license. I don't want to be on the road, knowing I could possibly have a seizure and hurt or possibly kill someone. What if I killed a family or a child? I couldn't live with myself. I've been lonely for the past few years and have been looking online for a guy. I got so frustrated the other night, I put down the computer. I started praying to God, all the angels and saints to help me to find someone that is right for me. A man who will take care of me, and respect me, love me and laugh with me. Someone to cuddle up with, etc. I waited about 20 or so minutes, then picked up the computer. Looked on POF site. There was a final message from a guy. I looked and it was a police officer. I sent him a message. Then we started texting, then talking over the phone. We met in person and it seems we have been meant to be together. We can almost finish each other's sentences. I hope this is the one for me. Good men are so hard to find.
