Better and worse

While my symptoms seem to be under control at least for now I feel more alone than ever.

My my husband is acting like everything is fine and normal. Outside of our conversation where I told him what the dr said we haven't talked about it.

I have have so many questions and so many feelings about this and I feel like I have no one to talk to about it. So I'm left searching the internet for information and support.

I feel your stress, confusion and sadness. I remember when I was first diagnosed, I actually didn't take it to bad, my PCP was the one who said "You need to take this seriously, you need to see a rheumatologist ASAP", that is when it really hit me. I was alone, divorced with a seven year old son. We used to always say "it's us against the world". I had to be so careful, his father had never been in the picture, so I was his whole world. I had many questions and wanted to talk so bad, but I had to keep up the brave face and carry on for my son's benefit.
You can do this!! My Mom always taught me, "You'll never get more than you can handle". Somedays I wonder, but the days problems always find a solution. You will find the answers. Give your loved ones time to understand your disease and be patient, it will be alright, you will be alright!! Chin up my RA friend!
