Better Day

My granddaughter starts a new school today.  She is nervous, but the school is small, with around 35 in her graduating class.  She gets to do some work on the school newspaper, which I think she will like.
She's never joined clubs, actitivies, etc.  I think this might be the best for her, since she will want to do what everyone else is doing.  She did sports at the local playground, until she was around 15.  I think the large school she was at was overwhelming.  She is kind of shy, believe it or not.  Her dad said, he never knew how many friends she had, until this happened.  Everyone is calling and texting her.  The girl that started this is back at school, saying she got her kicked out, and is laughing about it.  I say, karma is a bitch, and she will get her's someday.  I really think both of them should have been kicked out.  The other girl lied about alot of stuff, that I don't even know about.
I pray that she has a great senior year.  She gets to wear regular clothes, which she never has done before.  I'll see about taking her shopping this weekend, if she has the time.
