Better Day

Today was a better day. It began very busy then became stressful and now I feel relaxed. Tomorrow will be our second last day before the holidays and I am feeling a little pensive. I was told today that I should photocopy as much as possible because the new principal is going to institute photocopy codes. I guess the free ride has ended...One of our retiring teachers wrote a lovely goodbye letter for the staff to read. It was so beautifully written that I have to remember to save it. She talked about the change in the education system from 1965 until now and how the government says it is a change but in reality they bring back the old ways with new titles. For most, she talked about how teaching is for the students not administration...in the end all that matters is that you made a positive difference in someones life.So that will be my mantra for life to make a positive difference in someones life.
