beta testing results were at 2000 at 2nd visit!!!

They want to do an ultra sound just in case, next tuesday, but my goddess nurse said it's really not neccessary.  I so want to go, but my DH is working.  We've had quite the weather here causing lots of power loss, and phone loss.  He's a phone serivce guy so he's been working 12hr days, and it looks like he may have to work straight through christmas!  He's such a good person, that he doesn't mind at all because he knows he's providing a neccessary service.  We've had a house full of friends while power was out warming by our wood stove and cooking on the gas stove.  So I spent my first days knowing I had a bfp with lots of friends, and not able to say a word to anyone.  That was hard!!So, my beta results on Monday were 700.  Today they are over 2000!!  That's way my nurse at the RE office thinks I could wait for the u/s till the following week.  My DH has to see the heart beat along with me.  I can't believe that I have a part of him growing inside me!!  This is such a miracle!!  As Carl Jung use to say, when things are down you have something to look forward to.  But when things are going well, you know that you're going to have a downward spiral at some point.  I have everything I've asked for!!  A comfortable home, in a good community where everyone knows everyone and helps each other! I found my best friend to share life with, we both have secure jobs.  We don't have many luxuries. No big TV, just a smaller one that was a hand-me-down.  Like all of our furniture!  LOL!I'm on cloud 9 right now!  And I think it's going to last for 9 months, and then get better!
