Beta Day
So just had my blood test (we flew back in last night but that is a whole other story...still waiting for our luggage....we don't know what country it is in right now...could be one of three!)
Anyway, blood test done, grocery shopping done and now there is naught to do but wait...well actually there is much to do...like clean the entire house as we are having our first of many Christmas BBQs tomorrow but all I want to do is sit on the internet and procrastinate!) My husband has had to go out and meet his visiting uncle for coffee so I am home alone for a bit.
So I know the result will be a negative. I am 100% certain of this and I if you ask my husband he will tell you that I am always right. (ha ha )
No, but seriously, I am already devastated but trying to hold it together until the news is confirmed so that then I can really go to town on losing my shit.
I am trying to look at the bright side....we never intended to have cycle of IVF this year but we managed to sneak one in..so it is kinda like a bonus. We also have managed to freeze 3 embies...so hopefully they will be viable for transfer which buys us another (hopefully) 3 cycles before we have to do the full IVF cycle again. So then it wil be May ish by the time we start the next IVF cycle. Statistically, there is an 89% chance of getting pregnant after 3 rounds of IVF...I am not sure whether that includes FET or not, but if it doesn't then I am forseeing that we will at least be in the early stages of pregnancy by the end of 2015...ugh ok that just made me cry because I am impatient and want to be pregnant now. But it aint going to happen.
I really don't want to have a pity party for myself...just need to snap out of it.
Ok will keep you posted.........

Don\'t be so sure... I was 100% sure I was not pregnant the cycle I got pregnant... all signs pointed to \"no\"... I only had one follicle and because CD 10 was a Friday and my follicle was not mature, I didn\'t even do my Ovidrel injection. We BD\'d anyway just in case and two weeks later I got my BFP.
I do feel your pain, however, because unfortunately I just miscarried. :( We won\'t even be trying before February and it took a year the first time. We had just been about to start IUI but since it happened on its own we are going to delay that some time further and just stick with Femara.
All the best to you and hope you get your BFP today!
It\'s not over yet!! I hope that you are dead wrong :)
If it is a BFN, it sounds like you have a great plan for moving forward. Having a plan is really good and gives you something to look forward to. I hope that you are wrong and you will be getting some great news soon! Oh, and I hope you get your luggage back too!
