It is a cost-effective LED grow light with ample coverage area that can accommodate both plant veg and flower. In comparison to Advanced Platinum’s 3000w LED it is a close second but at half the price.

The BESTVA LED Grow light color spectrum is exactly what plants need, for any stage of growth.
Many manufacturers tell us that plants want red and blue light. During vegging they want mostly blue and during flowering, they want mostly red.
Plants do want mostly red and blue light, but they also want green and yellow light. Just not as much. More on the ideal light for plants here.
The ideal spectrum is one with peaks in the red and blue wavelengths, but that also has light in every other wavelength. As you can see, that is exactly the spectrum BestVA lights provide.

The ‘DC’ in DC Series stands for double chip and refers to the dual 5w chips used for each single diode to create a 10w LED. This light has more penetrating power than weaker diodes and will reach further beneath the canopy than most competing lights.
PAR Output And Coverage AreaThe two hundred 10 watt diodes included in this light give you a powerful output, while only consuming 390 watts. It is not equivalent to a 2000 watt HID light (much more on that below, in the section on disadvantages), but it is roughly equivalent to 700 HID watts.
Given the low price, that makes this light (and all others in the series) a great value.
In terms of actual numbers, at 18 inches in height, the light delivers a center PAR rating of 1036 umol/m²/s. At 24 inches, it delivers 760 umol/m²/s dead center.
BestVA state that the coverage are at 24 inches is 7.8 x 7.5 feet, but that claim is ridiculous. The effective coverage area is 4 by 4 feet maximum. Best results are achieved with an area slightly smaller than that.

The BestVA double chip series lights are rated for 100,000 hours of use. The 3-year warranty does not cover that entire period, but it is longer than most competing lights. Very few Chinese manufacturers give longer than 1 year for the warranty, if you get one at all.
