I had a choice between going into policing since I majored in Criminology or pursuing RMT and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Before pursuing a career as a Massage Therapist, I was completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC in the multidisciplinary science stream. I have experienced the benefits of massage and want to help others relax and ease their aches and pains. They give us lots of hands on practice, cool new techniques, and they make sure their modules overlap with the other modules of the semester for better learning. I want to be an RMT because I have always wanted a full time job for caring for others and with that, the medical field was always on my mind.
