Best Face Forward....
After posting on here about my horrible face I got some excellent advise on Derma Blend from my fellow Lupies.
When I went to Macy's, the department store that carries the product it in my area, I met a wonderful young lady who was so lovely and gracious.
She gave me hope that I can look like a normal person. She gave me lots of advise and info on products and ways to minimize the appearance of my breakouts. (I've been to dermatologists before, unsympathetic and not very helpful).
Don't know which hurts worse, the way people look at me when I have open sores, bumps and boils or when they treat me like I'm vain and shallow for caring.
I have a lot of the product left from the samples she gave me. I do not know how much this stuff costs and.....don't care! Figure I can always sell my house if I need to ;).
My face is healing and for the 1st time in years and years I feel hopeful.

That is odd how our skin is so different. My derm said I had Roscesea. He gave me some cream that hurt and butned my face and itched so badI could hardly stand it. i called twice and they said the burning and rash was normal. It didn\'t do anything. All that pain for nothing. So far I get dry and hard crusty sores on my face and body. I kind of look like I have rosy cheeks tho the red is in different places besides the cheeks. When i first wash my face it looks like I have a bad sunburn. The next day it is not as bad. I have SLE Lupus but it seems to also affect the skin . Hey good luck on getting your skin cleared up.
