Being proactive
Today I took action for once before I'm in a crisis. I called my PCP and he prescribed an antihistamine and an antibiotic. Hopefully this will keep this cold from becoming something worse. Usually I wait too long before I break down and call the doc but this time I called early. Maybe I'm learning something in my old age...you think? On a lighter note, I saw that President Elect Obama met with President Bush today. This occasion caused a couple of radio jocks in my area to comment to each other "What do you think was the first thing that President Bush said to President Elect Obama? "...."Boy am I glad to see you! Can you start early?" Be well,Tom

I\'m glad you decided to be proactive this time. There is no sense in letting it settle in your chest. Once it gets there...it hates to leave!

Good job, Tom. Way to nip it in the bud. I usually have to force feed meds to my husband if he gets sick, so I\'m proud of you for taking the initiative.
