\"Being harassed\"

Every time I'm about to have a Manic Episode, my own family drive me crazy.  They check on me all the time, ask me how many hours I slept.  They look to me like "Police Officers", especially my own son. This time, when I was only sleeping 3 to 4 hours, I called my doctor immediately.  He changed the dosages, and I started sleeping a lot better.  Why do they have to be on top of me like they do?  Do I have a case here?  I was really going to call my attorney and ask him, cause I'm getting sick and tired of having to go through this all the time.  Please, tell me what you think.  I'll be waiting for your inputs on this.  God Bless You, Bonchi.

Nobody can push buttons like a family member. Face it Bonchi, they don\'t know what to do or how to help. They have no idea their efforts are coming off as annoying and instrusive. Gotta love \'em for caring but it\'s okay for you to put your foot down. Point out that you called your doctor yourself and took charge of that mania before it took charge of you. Good for you!

Thank you for your advice, I really need it. My son started bothering me again last night, and I told him: Listen I\'m in touch with my doctor, my psychologist and I\"m joining a PHP Program, so you don\'t have to be on top of me, leave me alone! He asked, Mom why are you so defensive? I said, because you are all on top of me and are driving me crazy, tha\'ts why. He didn\'t say a thing. I went to my bedroom, locked the door and fell asleep. Blessings, Bonchi.

I guess/hope that they are doing it for loving reasons-it sounds like you set them straight though, hopefully it will get better-hang in there, love ya J

It\'s called love. Sometime my family smothers me too. They are just worried about you. I know this may be tough, but be patient with them. Voice your concerns to them.
