Being Fit

I have updated my goal and I have decided because not every day of the week I am walking.  But it doesn't matter as I have started to lose the weight!  I am told you need to walk briskly for at least 30 minutes for 3 or 4 days a week in order to shift a little weight.  I have been walking with my neighbour in the evenings and we walk the same route - the "short" route as it is cold, windy and wet!!  But it takes us 40 minutes of fast walking.  Some evenings we can't be bothered, or if we're not feeling great.  But once we're on the road, and chatting away, you get a "runner's high".  I could have kept going last night!
I've decided that I am going to do a daily journal and that way I HAVE to enter it in and that way I HAVE to walk every day!  I'm drinking more water and going for a pee more often in the day and that seems to be helping too.  I have an underactive thyroid which makes me pee just once a day.  So to go several times is a miracle!
 
My neighbour is away for four days but I'm still going to do my walks.

Good for you! Keep at it.....I need to, also, but have a torn meniscus in my knee, a bad foot that they can\'t figure out, a nearly frozen shoulder, and tennis elbow. You might say I\'m falling apart, LOL! But I am looking and inquiring and finding some things I can do that will help a little. Any movement is better than none!

Very very excellent...i have a walk at home dvd by leslie sansone it was the one for seniors but i have graduated to the beginners class and it has five levels on it. I am only at level one at the moment but i find it very good. Congrats on progressing with your goal. Keep up the walking.

Keep up the good work. I am also trying to lose weight, and have been walking some, and lifting weights . So far, I haven\'t lost. I\'m hoping that will change, though. Take care.
