Being contemplative.
It's 4:30 in the morning and I just had a 2 hour conversation with a friend about life and love. This person is someone who grew up with a different life in many ways, yet I notice that the older we get the less the everthing matters. The true thing we all seek is happiness. What makes it is what the problem is. This is where we stray and falter in how we treat on another. We turn into compulsive liars. We get obsessed to attention. We become Fanatics of singular beliefs. We become drug addicts. These things and so much more are the results of the attempt at happiness failing in some way. I wrote a poem but wont post it here just yet, however the line I like the most out of it is "You can't even judge the cover of a book from behind a computer monitor.."

Looking out at all the wounded, one realizes life can just beat you down. But you\'re right, we are all seekers of happiness. :)
I agree. I seek happiness in everything I do. Who really cares about all the negative stuff all around us. It\'s not even worth wasting your breath on. lol
2 hour conversation? Wow..y\'all had THAT much to say? :)
you can\'t TRUST anyone from behind a computer monitor or face to face for that matter.
I am glad that out of these conversations you come away with something...I just want to see you happy...
It would be nice to be happy, however I don\'t know what happiness is because when I think I am happy everybody else tells me I am ill and I usually get locked up for being manic. Most people only accept me when I am depressed and suicidal. When that happens, I am still in danger of being committed so I tend not to tell people when I feel that way which is nearly every day. If you find the secret of happiness and the definition of it, please teach me how to find it...Love\'n\'hugs.......hope to catch up with you soon...Have missed our conversations...xXx
