Being contemplative.

It's 4:30 in the morning and I just had a 2 hour conversation with a friend about life and love.  This person is someone who grew up with a different life in many ways, yet I notice that the older we get the less the everthing matters.  The true thing we all seek is happiness. What makes it is what the problem is.  This is where we stray and falter in how we treat on another. We turn into compulsive liars. We get obsessed to attention. We become Fanatics of singular beliefs. We become drug addicts.  These things and so much more are the results of the attempt at happiness failing in some way.   I wrote a poem but wont post it here just yet, however the line I like the most out of it is "You can't even judge the cover of a book from behind a computer monitor.."
