Being Blessed

Every month, I go to the local nursing home and play an hour piano concert for them. I play piano at 4 nursing facilities about every month.  I was at the local nursing home visiting as I do every week.  I was talking to a nurses aide back in the Alzheimers unit when I heard a tiny little angelic voice singing.
I looked to see where the sound was coming from and near the rear of the room, there was a small, thin little lady in a rocking chair.  She was rocking and singing "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so".  I stood there and listened, while tears ran down my face.  Here I was, trying to be a blessing to these people and I was the one who received the blessing!!!!!!
I visited today, with an old man who is 94 and he lives alone now.  His wife of 73 years, is in the alsheimers unit I mentioned above.  She is 93.  I did their 70th wedding vow renewal 3 years ago. I have known this couple all of my life.  They have been such a blessing and such a wonderful Christian testimony to so many, all these years.  I am truly blessed to know them.
