Behcets disease
Hello,
Diagnosed 3 months ago with behcets disease. How do explain this disease to people when they ask what is wrong?? You tell them you have an auto- immune disease to get rewarded with a completely blank look. Then try to explain the symptoms, mouth and genital ulcers and joint problems!!!! Not a very social topic that comes up in general conversation.
So how do the behcets sufferers out there explain this disease??
Also how do you cope with the fatigue that never ends. Or is this more to do with the never ending prednisolone, that l have taken for the past 3 months.
Trying very hard to remain positive, but lack of sleep is making it hard.
