Behaviour patterns
Was asked what I found in the cupboard as I was clearing it out by my wife. Told her everything, including about the old financial stuff that I had shoved in there. That was that. No saying that the stuff should never have been dumped in there, no argument about the fact that I hide things and hope they go away. Just a simple right, ok, we'll sort out what we need and dispose of the rest. Shows how wrong I have been all these years with my needless fears and worries and inability to face up to a potential awkward situation. My initial thought when I saw the stuff was to hide it and get rid of it later. Am so glad I didn't. Maybe there's hope for me yet.
