Beginning to hate Saturdays...
Week 2.
Not doing so well.
I called my older son and chatted with him for awhile. Thankfully, he wasn't at work and was able to chat for awhile. It felt a little hollow, and then he started arguing with me about all the "good" things (for example, I mentioned how excited I was by my daughter's Humanities class and he just went on about how stupid it sounded) so I started to tune out on what he was saying. Not exactly how I had hoped the conversation would go, especially because by the time I realized I was tuning out, he was talking about HIS college classes and I felt bad for missing out. Geeze, fail, Mom. Big time.
I invited my daughter to stay up late and come watch movies with me. No go. "I just want to play on my computer for awhile and go to bed," she said. Oh. OK, well. Nite.
Even the dog wanted to spend time curled up with my younger son instead of coming to keep me company. I didn't find my cat, or I know he'd have cuddled, albeit for a minimal time frame.
I'm considering a glass of wine and a bath, but I just cleaned the giant tubby yesterday and don't really want to do it again tomorrow. :/ Let it stay clean another day. Maybe a movie and some crochet to keep my brain busy.
At least the uncontrollable tears stopped.
I hate being such a wimp. I hate goodbyes, though. I will be glad when Huz finally gets official word on when he can early transfer.
