Been pretty good... just a week to go...

Just a quick note - this week I've been sticking to it with just one flipflop - 3 miles on Tuesday, 8 x 400s on Thursday (which, I must say, was a lot easier than I thought!), and 3 miles today. Tomorrow calls for a fast 5m, and then an easy 7 miler.
The 8 x 400s workout was on the treadmill, and I started it at 7.5, then 7.6, 7.7, 7.8, then kicked it up to 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, and did the last rep at 9.0mph.
I am excited to do the 5m just to see how hard it will be, and to be able to relax with the 7 miler and not focus on speed. After that, it is only 3 more days of training before the race!

I hadn\'t realized that your back to running another race,I know you can do it and you will do well. You have the heart, and the discipline of a peaceful warrior. I can\'t take the pounding of running but have always admired runners.
