Bedbugs cost us a lil' buddy.

I swear I could just fucking scream! My daughter comes home from school today telling us the school confiscated and threw away her $40 book bag because they found a bed bug on it. Fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck! And fuck! So I lit into their ass for that, told them in no uncertain terms that I fully expected reimbursement, that we aren't rich people with money flying out of our asses to pay for shit left and right. I got a shitload of apologizes from the principal, and was told they would be replacing her book bag, but with a  viynal (or however the hell you spell it) one. All I have to say is it BETTER be close to the same price, cause if not I'm gonna raise holy hell. This is TWICE my daughter has had to deal with these fucking blood suckers showing up in school, I've had it!
So we started heat treating the house again. Husband was in such a rush, being rushed by his dad as well, that he forgot to take our long haired golden teddy bear hamster out of the back room, and he passed today from carbon monoxide, we believe. But it could have been the excessive heat, he was a long haired breed so.
I don't like to say I hate people. But I do hate my husband's uncle for refusing to take responsibility for bringing those fucking pests here to begin with, and with running away and not bothering to help one fucking lick when the problem started. I hope he chokes on his new "life".  I really hate to say something like that, but I just can't help it. This has devastated my husband, cause the hamster was his "lil' buddy" and has upset my son immensely, to the point I doubt he will be going to school tomorrow. Not to mention my daughter, and with my son being ADHD and overly sensitive and my daughter having Asperger's, you can imagine the sadness when my husband had to tell them. I would just like to have my husband's uncle tied to a rope like a pinata and I'd like to spend the day kicking him squarely in the ass!
Not to mention today the same kid that has been picking on my son since the second day of school, the same kid that has caused so much chaos with my son, has picked up right where he left off picking on him. So now I have to go tomorrow and force them to switch his class if not switch the track he is on so he has no contact with this little kid.

What a snafu!! Can\'t believe they would toss a backpack like that! How many bedbegs have they seen in their lives? Here in my town they don\'t even send kids home for LICE anymore! Sorry about the hamster too...poor little guy! Maybe u can have a little funeral for him. As for the bullying, that is tough, recently at my daycare one of our mom\'s filed a protection order against another kid because of bullying and I fight that happened this summer. Hope things start to look better for u!

Well they saved the \"bug\" for inspection by a certified exterminator, so I have to give them their due diligence on that end. And we\'ve had to deal with lice before ourselves. I view bedbugs along the same lines as lice, it\'s not a shame to get them, but it is a shame to keep them (in other words do nothing to try to alleviate the problem)
We held a little funeral for the poor lil\' guy. It seemed to help our son, our daughter who has Asperger\'s was her usual typical self, didn\'t show much emotion, although we know it hurt her deeply. My husband, however, it will take a LONG time for him to get over this. He continues to call himself (out of hearing of the children of course) the Hamster Murderer, and he is REALLY beating himself up terribly about this.

Oh Shannon... Things have to get better for you all. My daughter dealt with 3 bullies from 2nd to 5th grade, it was a complete bitchfest and a very long story. The principal was completely useless to help us, I hope you have better luck. No excuse these days for that bullshit. I thought you got all of the bedbugs. uck. Love you tons. Colleen

Love you to so much Colleen. ely to replace not only her book bag but her supplies and study notes and allow her time to catch up, even though she is tracking out. My son\'s school on the other hand is being a pain in my ass. They\'re fixing to get me sitting at school watching my son, is what is fixing to happen. Trust me, they\'ll get tired of seeing me before I\'ll get tired of being there. ;D
