Beautiful Days
Wow the weather has been cooperative the last few days and I got to spend some real quality time with my Grandsons over the weekend. The oldest is learning to ride my horse which is amazing since he is not only a mountain horse but also a cutting horse and can be a bit tricky to ride. My Grandson is riding him like he was born on the saddle. Then after the weekend was over I have been doing things I have been wanting to do all winter such as practice shooting my Bow, and doing some much needed after winter clean-up in the yard. Since they don't have me on the schedule to work until the 19th I may even get ambitious and burn some of the brush piles that have been patiently waiting for me to get to them since last spring. I don't remember when the last time was that I had this much time on my hands and I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do. I can only spend so much time training my dog, because I'm not suppose to really be climbing up hills yet. The training I do is to hide articles for him to scent out on level ground and inside trailers and such, plus he will only tolerate the easy training for so long before he finally lets me know OK I've had enough lets get to some real stuff. Oh well! Guess I'll go out and shoot my Bow a little before I maybe take a drive into town and go do a little grocery shopping, then maybe come home and take a nap.

Wow, when you say Bow - do you mean a proper medieval bow and arrow? Sounds like you are having fun and enjoying yourself. xxx
Pip, No I don\'t shoot the proper medieval long Bow, I shoot a 65# compound Bow, no it doesn\'t weigh 65# but thats the draw weight. I love archery hunting and just shooting my Bow because its an enjoyable sport even when i\'m not hunting. And yes i\'m having fun. However they did call me into work early so i have to go in today 4/14. Oh well
Hugs
