Beautiful day
It sure is a beautiful day here in North Carolina. The tempeature is only 41 but the sun is shining and its very bright. We may get more snow on Sunday night, that will be some kind of record.
I hope all is well with you, my friends. I know that some of you are are at very critical times. I just want to tell you that I pray for you at night. I hope you can feel those prayers.
Steve has one more week of this cycle of Sutent. I think that is cycle # 34. I sometimes wonder what staying on Sutent is doing to his body. I can't think about that, I am just so thankful that it's working.
Just thinking of you all this morning. God Bless you

Hi Wanda
Appreciating a sunny day is one of life\'s most simple and underrated pleasures, isn\'t it?
I, for one, feel your prayers and good will......thanks.
As for the Sutent, if it is working and Steve is handling the side effects and tolerating it well, then don\'t look the gift horse, you know the rest.
But seriously, you should both bring up that concern with the oncologist as they may just want to give him a brief rest period to rejuvenate his body. They know best of course, but it could put your mind at ease to at least voice the concern.

Good Afternoon Sweetie!
It\'s also beautiful here in . We\'re not expecting snow, but ice on Sunday night. UGH!
Steve must hold a record for being on Sutent the longest. What a blessing that it has worked well for him. Does he have many side effects?
Ray will return to the oncolgist next Friday. He still looks and feels well, so I\'m feeling pretty confident that he\'ll get a good report. Since he hasn\'t been on any treatment since July, 2009, it\'s absolutely God at work. I am so very grateful for this extra time.
Stay snugged in and warm, Hon.
Love You,
Ingrid
Hi Wanda...well, the news report here is rainy and rainy! That\'s okay...the grandchildren are having their regular sleep over and I am not thinking about the future, but just enjoying the moment. I pray that Steve is going to be blessed enough that this Sutent is all he will have to be on to manage the cancer. I think Gloria makes a good point about him taking a short rest if the doctor agrees. Enjoy your sunny day and please send a bit of that my way!
Love you, Linda
Dear Wanda - really, don\'t worry about the Sutent. The more I travel on this road, the more I am in awe of what the human body can cope with. And, if it\'s working, well...I\'m just so pleased.
We\'ve had far more snow than usual here this year too - I like it - real winter, like my years in Eastern Europe. Makes me very nostalgic! And it\'s so beautiful, but I\'m starting to long for sunshine and warmth, flip-flops....
Enjoy what\'s left of this weekend honeybunch,
lots of love, Meriel x x x
Hi Wanda, We were suppose to get snow and we only got a dusting so far so I am grateful for that...being a New Englander I should expect snow but as I age I am not a fan of the cold weather and snow. I think I told you I have two nephew\'s in NC and the older one was up this way this week and he stopped by to see me. I hadn\'t seen him since his Mother\'s funeral..(my sister) five years ago. It was really nice to catch up....I am glad to hear Steve is doing well...and not having a bad reaction to the Sutent...enjoy your weather..it\'s around 23 here. Hugs, Ellen
Hi my good friends, Steve does get breaks. He is on 3 weeks and off 2 weeks. When we went to the beach this past July he was off almost a month. He doctor is very understanding and wants him to have a good quality of life. I \'am sorry if I made you think he doesn\'t get breaks. He is somewhat of a record at CMC and I thank God every night for letting me have him this long. And I thank God for all of you!!
Hi Wanda, The sunshine is wonderful, especially on a winter day. It makes me smile just to see it. Thank you for the prayers, they are much appreciated. And so glad to hear that Steve is breaking records in a positive way! Enjoy your day.
