Beached Whale

Just journaling to keep myself sane, and fill some time and I guess it would be a good thing to look back on If this cycle is a success.
So my first complaint is that I literally feel rubbish, due to the size of me, I have an actual spare tyre round my waist which honestly wasn't there before this frozen cycle, I am hoping its the drugs but I think my eating has been pretty slack over the last few weeks so that has contributed! I just feel like a slob and all I wanna do is eat, it is not cool, or attractive, I suppose at least me and DH are not having sex anyway so I don't have to worry about how gross I feel for that!
I have noticed I have the odd crampy feeling and this morning I noticed my boobs are definitely sore, I am hoping that's a good sign, I have been stalking my friends old journals from their tww's to see if I can figure anything out. I have found out online that I can expect a little bit of blood in the next 3 days if implantation occurs so I have my fingers crossed for that.
My plan is to wait for beta and not poas but I know all you ladies seem to plan that. My DH's birthday is the day before beta, but I don't wanna test early and be disappointed early? I have ben trying to decide what to do on test day? Do I go to work and then leave early? I just cant face the thought of taking the call at work and it being negative and then having to carry on at work. Most people there know what's going on so they will know what the answer is. Then I could tell my boss if I don't come in the day afterwards then they can assume it was bad news?? I'm not sure what to do?
Anyway this is just my random thoughts while I wonder what's going on in there!!!

For your beta I would plan on doing it early enough to get a phone call either way THAT day. If I go to my lab too late I have to sweat it out and WAIT until the next morning which of course would mean I would get absolutely NO sleep:0)
Don\'t fret about the spare tire it really does go down I promise! It will go down with a BFP too! (at least for a little while until you start showing hehe!) I think the eating for me is kinda tied into the drugs more than the stress. Some of the drugs make your body feel like you are PMSing hard core and I tend to crave sweet and salty things when I am waiting for a period to start.

I am thinking of you friend. Continue to keep us posted and try to stay sane and calm. (Yes thats easier said than done in the waiting process!) *HUG!!!

Lots of tough decisions on when to test/ what to do at work. I say do whatever makes you the least stressed. Is it possible to take the beta day off? Then you could go in early for the beta, and have the day to relax :)

I was super duber bloated after transfer but it was from fresh and I had some mild OHSS which I know you already went through that mess. I am sure the spare tire is related to the hormones though. To be honest, I ate like shit while I was stimming and in the TWW. I just let myself go and enjoyed food. Everything else was making me stressed and food was my friend. I tested at 7dp5dt but I really planned to wait until the morning of the Beta. That way if I had a neg test I planned to call off work. My coworkers also knew what was going on. It was good and bad. I am hoping that you will have nothing but good news to share with all of them. Hang in there!!

Its a tough decision like you I didnt\' want to get the phone call at work and be upset. I tested both times before hand. The first time around I tested 6,7,and 8dpt and got BFN every time so the day of my blood test I wasn\'t too let down when they called me to say it didn\'t work. It actually made it easier to stay at work all day bc I had already cried it all out over the weekend before my beta. The second time around I had lower back pain on day 6 past the transfer and my sister kept bugging me to go buy a test. I gave in and tested and got a BFP. My best advice is to do what your gut feeling is telling you to do :) Good luck!

I\'ve got the bloat and sore boobs too and DH keeps telling me I\'m reading too into all the \"symptoms!!\" Actually this morning he tells me that I told him to wear his \"baby boots\" when I really said \"winter boots\" so I think he has baby on the brain too!!

I\'ve decided to wait for the beta because I NEVER get a positive home test and last time I waited for the beta and it was positive (obviously I hope this one lasts the whole 40 weeks!!) do what you feel is right, but personally I think home tests make me more stressed!

Also.... I am attaching this link I found and it made me think of you:) it\'ll help us know what\'s going on everyday of the wait!!

I think that \"feeling\" is different for everyone. One of the very tiny wonderful silvier linings in going through fertility treatments is you are literally tracking your precious baby story down to the VERY MINUTE:0) I love that bit of wonderful thought in all of this. It\'s one of our very own special take aways that not just anyone can experience. I love that when my child gets old enough to understand things I will be able to open our photo album and show him his very first baby pic which is the embryo in the petri dish resting in the special IVF chamber machine the day they prepped me and everything to put the embryo in my bloated sore body.

The \'normals\' usually don\'t put anything together that they are preggo until they are a good six weeks along or so. I am thinking of you often friend. I pray this is going to be your wonderful miracle of a baby story. *HUG! You will get those feelings soon enough.

I put on weight around my middle during injections and then taking all the estrogen and progesterone...I think it must be a side effect! Thinking of you and hoping the journey is a wonderful one!
