Battered and broken

Aargh.  Have broken toe next to little toe on right foot.  Very painful but impressively bruised.  Rest of foot has come out in sympathy.  On the positive side this is now number three on the list of injuries so hopefully my full tally.  Also sporting black eye where carrying a painting while moving furniture and it caught a doorway and bit me back.  Then there is the 'Thank You Prednisone' massive red bruise on right hand where  a bookcase fell after being carefully manhandled back into place and seemingly secure.  Lots of sympathy for that.  These things people can see....(When actually in the greater picture the RA much worse a thing).
So although painters finished and hired a couple of students to help as will not move furniture again or put up with husband's grumpiness while going it,  I cannot now finish off the smaller stuff.  Think will pack a sad until after 'festive season' over.  Make lemonade out of lemons?  Yes.  Great excuse to put feet up and ignore Christmas!  But means goal shot to pieces - grrr.
