Baq time
Just having a really time , as if it is almost new again.
I am afraid facing a new year. I know I will probably lose a brother too in the near future. I am working tonite so that is good. I miss Karina and think of the New years Eves when we would have cheese balls, dip and etc on the table. And oh she loved sparkling grape juice soo much. I can't even think of buying it. Time will never heal all the pain of burying your child.

No, the pain never goes away but it does lessen.. this is a promise from me to you...
It is hard to remember old traditions, and when you are ready it is time to make new ones.
Hugs this day and always
MaryLou
An innocence is lost that I believe we all had when our children were still living. It does cause fear because of all the unknowns. It is so understandable that you are feeling this way and as Mary Lou has said somehow it does become more gentle over time. Time is a healer and it is what we chose to do with the time too that helps us in the process. You are doing your best and that is good enough for now my friend. One foot in front of the other and you are not alone. I am so sorry that your beloved daughter is not with you in the way that you long for her to BE. Sigh...
Understanding hugs,

I, too, have struggled this past week as if it were all brand new. Not only the \"horrordays\" (as my friend Martha calls them), but the end of the worst year of my life and the start of a new year without my daughter in it. I have had moments of despair but I remember my vision of her, healed and joyful, and I remember how much love and comfort God has given me for a lifetime. What you feel is normal, awful but normal. I don\'t know about time making this loss \"more gentle\", I\'m tomorrow is ten months from my daughter\'s crossing over. But I do know somehow we must all go forward until it is our time to finally put down the weapons of life and join our loved children. It is toward that end we continue, a view worth walking toward. God bless you.
Thank you . Yes we are both in the first year of the great sadness of our loss. Starting a new year and ending the worst ever for us. We have to keep the faith but at times we are just over come and over whelmed with the huge loss and the whys and could I have been better and all the ???????????
This grief journey is so unpredictable. There seem to be times when we regress...and all the pain seems so fresh. I do want you to know that for me, it has been 4 1/2 years and the harshness of the recent loss does ease. There are times when I still need to \"go there\"...feel it, relive it...but then I can put it away again. I ache for Alex daily, I speak his name everyday and I wish things were different...everyday...but some how we live. Take gentle care of yourself...love and hugs...Karen
I\'m right there with you, I didn\'t know it was possible to feel pain this deep and cry everyday over and over again. This my first Holidays without Jason too, and I\'m glad they are over. May the new year bring us peaceful moments and bless us with goodness. Sending love Cheryl for you and for Karina in Heaven.. Terry
My heart is with you....I am approaching 3 year in March...I wish I could say it gets better....in a way it does but only as we receive signs and know that God has our children now in sweet perfection....no longer in any kind of anguish or pain....it is now for us to bear. I hope you will find peace as it does come to us in most unexpected ways...be waiting and watching. TLC...dale, brandon\'s mom
