baking friday! :) calling all cookie monster! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and Happy Spring Sunflower spirit soaring, PRETZELS themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) The Sunflowers are rising and shining into our kitchen today, for a SUPER COOL baking friday adventure! :) our 1st baking friday of the Spring season! :) The sunflowers are sunny smiling today, on this sweet classic, and golden early spring day! :) with sunshine and blue sky, and some sweet baking friday fun! :) We blossomed into our adventure today! :) my mom did some baking today too! :) She baked, Homemade Lasagna for me! :) awww! :) a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom :) This day is rocking and sunshine rolling!!! and the BIRTHDAY PARTY CELEBRATIONS ARE ON TOMORROW!!! :) Whooo!!! :) we wish you all could come over for the celebrations, and to enjoy lots of foods, snacks, drinks, and ice cream cake! :) awww! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping w ith the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, and i baked some delicious wheat pretzels :) a very special request baking friday adventure today :) Earlier this week, Kayla asked me what i'd like to bake for baking friday, since it's my birthday week :) awww! :) i said, "pretzels!" :) awww! :) it's one of our favorite treats to bake, and the recipe is so much fun! :) Those pretzels are delicious! :) The month of March is in full swing, and today we have a beautifully sunny sunshine day, and the sunflowers blossomed into our kitchen, for a baking friday party!!! :)
my birthday is tomorrow! :) i am so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled about celebrating my birthday with everyone :) The whole day, is gonna be a celebration, from sunrise to moon rise! :) hehe! :) i am smiling and smiling! :) my family is putting finishing touches on a special birthday party for me, and i'm also having a DS birthday party tomorrow :) Lots of fun, excitement, smiles, and great memories to be made :) i'll be taking lots and lots of pictures to share, and also making a pictures collage video to share with everyone :) i am so very extremely happy and excited! :)
Each year, my mom has a very wonderful tradition for me :) She bakes my favorite food, homemade lasagna :) mmm mmm! :) i so very much, looking forward to this wonderful tradition :) i've been getting hungry, just thinking about the delicious pasta! :) Early this morning, we had a sweet beautiful spring morning rising and shining! :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) Thank you everyone! :) my mom began to prepare the nice lasagna for me this morning ,so that i'd be able to enjoy some for lunch, and also dinner this evening :) Thank you mom, so very much! :) i love you bunches and bunches! :)
i began my day, with a nice nature walk :) i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for the birds, and squirrels :) i spotted the moon still visible in the sky this morning :) it was such a wonderful sight to see :) our nature animal friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) it was a great morning :) my mom was preparing my lasagna, and i decorated our kitchen, with an awesome SPRING SUNFLOWERS theme! :) our ktichen looked awesome, and very decorative, witht eh sunflowers :) it's so much fun setting up, and decorating the kitchen for our super fun adventure :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my mom and dad :) they went to the stores today, they picked up some wheat flour, and also picked up some other items too, for my birthday party tomorrow :) awww! :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) they picked up my ice cream birthday cake, from Dairy Queen! :) WOW! :) this is super mega sweet awesome!!! :)
For Lunch today, i enjoyed 2 delicious slices of Lasagna :) mmm mmm! :) oh my! :) Yummy!!! :) i love it! :) i enjoyed my lunch, and this early afternoon, enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) Around 3pm, i gathered some more of our baking friday supplies, our aprons, and went back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches, on our kitchen preparations for our super fun adventure :) Jenn and Mikey came over, and shortly after 3pm, Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :) we mentioned to Taylynn, if she'd like to help bake, she could join us anytime in the kitchen :) She likes to have a snack, juice, and watches tv after school :) Each week, my family and i love to use our nice aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, pot holders, and other baking friday supplies, that we have used over the years :) we get lots of nice use, from all of our supplies :) Kayla, Mikey, and i were all set, and ready to bake goodies :) We got our picture taken, and then began to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) WHEAT PRETZELS! :) one of our favorite recipes, that is one of the funnest, and easiest recipes :) We love pretzels! :) We first began by adding 1 cup of water, with 1 packet of yeast into the bowl :) We super stirred it! and then began to add in a little bit of sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and salt, to give the pretzels nice flavor :) it was then time, for the wheat flour! :) We added in, one cup of flour each time :) baking friday teamwork! : )i mentioned to my family, about how many friends, all around the world, have been baking, and cooking, throughout the week :) this is awesome! : )We're with eachother in spirit during our adventures :)
We added about 1 more cup of water, into the bowl of pretzel dough, to make the dough have a good texture, for when we rolled the dough into shapes of pretzels :) We were having lots of fun baking ,my mom, dad and sister Jenn were coming out into the kitchen :) i cut the pretzel dough into nice portions, and then Kayla, Mikey, and i were rolling the pretzel dough, to make the pretzel shapes :) we were sharing lots of smiles, during our adventure :) We were having such a fun time :) i got some water boiling on the stove, and i used a metal spatula to put 3 or 4 pretzels into the water, the quick boil in the water, makes the pretzel fluff up, so that the pretzel is bigger :) i then used butter to grease the pan, and put the pretzels onto the pan. :) i melted some butter in a bowl. Kayla, Mikey, and i used spoons to sprinkle the melted butter, and a little bit of salt on top of the pretzels :) i then put the pretzels into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) The pretzels were baking nicely :) as the pretzels were baking, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out :)
The pretzels baked, for about 20 minutes, they baked so nice :) they came out great! :) we put a plate of pretzels together, for Jenn and Mikey to bring home :) the pretzels are great, they are nice to enjoy plain, or with some ranch salad dressing, salads, cheese dip, or with some mustard :) Delicious! :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping bake :) we had lots of fun baking the pretzels :) We're gonna have many more spring themed baking friday adventures, that we look forward too :) Each friday, it's a super fun adventure in the kitchen :) Wheat Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family and wonderful friends :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) March 21st, 2014 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)

Mikey was getting the pretzel dough all set, for when we rolled the pretzel dough into the shape of pretzels :)

i cut the pretzel dough into nice small portions, and we then rolled the dough into the shape of pretzels :)
i got some water boiling on the stove, and i put the pretzels into the water, the quick water boil, makes the pretzels puff up, to make the pretzels bigger :)
We sprinkled melted butter, and some salt on top of the pretzels :)
