baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, Ice Cream Shop themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was lots of fun, and summer time classic! :) Ice cream, goodies, and summer time! :) Our annual ice cream themed baking friday adventure, sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer, during these golden days of summer time :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies, and ice cream! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, the kids, Holly, and i baked some vanilla cupcakes, made some pickled banana peppers, and also had some ice cream cones :) We love these very special times, and celebrating summer season to the fullest :) Thank you angel friends,for sharing in this very special tradition with us each week :)

Welcome to the Summer Time Baking Friday Ice Cream shop!!! :) Happy Golden days of Summer! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a great day! :) We think of you and your family's often :) We love baking friday, and the very special spirited joy,and fun each adventure brings :) we've been having a big summer of baking friday adventures, baking, cooking, and chillin n grillin, and today we're having our annual, Summer time ice cream shop themed baking friday :) With the very hot weather in our area, it's the perfect day for ice cream! :) i remember when i was a kid, and would be outside playing with my friends, and the ice cream truck would visit our neighborhood :) it was always so nice, getting some ice cream, and this awesome annual adventure we have in our kitchen each year, brings back those great memories for me :) We all love ice cream, there's so many flavors! :) my all time favorite is chocolate, chocolate chip, and i also love rocky road :) There's so many nice varieties of ice cream, and is truly one of the best summer time treats :) We wish you all could come over, to have some ice cream with us :)

This morning,we had a great new day, rising and shining :) a very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure :) a very special shoutout and thank you for my mom and dad :) they went to some stores this week, and picked up some baking friday supplies :) We appreciate them very much :) As the new day was blossoming this morning, i was up early,enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) It's been a very hot and humid stretch of days, with a heat-wave in our area. We hope everyone is keeping cool,and hydrated :) wishing us all safety, fromt his very hot,humid weather. We've been making sure our nature friends have lots of foods, water, so that they all are ok, through this heat wave. i gathered a big bowl of goodies this morning,and went outside for my nature walk :) i love seeing our huge tall sunflower greeting me in the early mornings :) it's amazing how tall it's grown, and glows in the garden with the sweet blue sky in the background, it's a beautiful nature sight to see :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) Awww! : ) we've had lots of nature friends visiting,and yesterday we made some nectar food for the hummingbirds :) Holly and i refilled 2 of the feeders, so that the hummingbirds can visit, to get some nectar, and they get nectar from flowers in our garden :)

Our plants, fruit trees, and garden are doing very well, growing and flourishing with the season :) it's so exciting, seeing all of the flowers blossoming, lots of fruits, and vegetables growing :) When i see the apples, i think of all of the apple goodies and treats we'll be baking, during the month of September,and Fall season :) There's so much to look forward too as the season goes on :) We love harvesting fresh garden goodies :) We have lots of peppers, tomatoes, string beans, snap peas, yellow squash, popcorn cobs, carrots, growing, along with pumpkins plants, and gourds plants :) our garden is glowing during these golden days of summer time :) in recent weeks, making homemade pickled banana peppers using peppers from our garden, has given us such a nice rewarding feeling of joy :) banana peppers are one of our favorite foods, and we've got such a nice recipe to make the peppers :) it's an awesome time in the season, with harvesting fresh garden goodies :) we love our plants, and garden :) We've been keeping our plants replenished during these very hot days, giving them lots of water, and checking in on our plants at times : )They're all handling the heat/humidity very well, and are continuing to flourish :) later on today, Holly and i gonna pick some more banana peppers, to make some pickled banana peppers, and we also love to pick string beans, while watering the plants :) happy nature, and gardening season smiles :)

It was a sweet spirited early morning :) Lots of sunrise sunshine coming into our windows :) We enjoyed a nice breakfast, and having some water, hot tea, and iced coffee :) cheers! to the golden days of summer time :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) Today, i decorated with a cool Ice Cream Shop theme :) Holly and i drew, and colored 3 cool ice cream themed pictures for our kitchen : )We love making decorations like this, that become a part of our decorations here in our downstairs apartment,we decorate our walls, and when we see the pictures, it reminds us of super fun baking friday adventures we've had :) our kitchen looked a wesome, all decorated :) as the morning went on, Holly and i put some sports radio on, lots of football talk, and also tended our plants, and picked some banana peppers, and string beans :) We're loving seeing our plants flourish with this wonderful gardening season :) we enjoyed a nice lunch around mid-day ,and during the early afternoon, enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

my mom baby sat the triplets, and Brody today, for Alyssa and Aj :) they did some shopping in preparations for their upcoming marriage celebration on sunday :) The kids have been having a big week, with lots of celebrations, adventures :) They're having a great summer :) We're so happy for the kids, as they love summer time, and have been enjoying their summer vacation very much :) We went into the kitchen, the kids love to select their spots at the kitchen counter :) we got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, we also use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to have an awesome fun ice cream shop themed baking friday adventure! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) we first began to prepare the cupcakes :) The kids are great helpers :) They love to help :) Today, Colby and Brayden helped Holly and i bake :) we love cupcakes, they're one of our favorite treats to bake over the years :) the kids love to help add the ingredients into the bowl, and super stirring :) they're super stirrers! :) we were enjoying preparing the cupcakes :) Holly and i are very proud of the kids, and how much they've learned about baking, cooking, and grilling :) They were very excited to have some ice cream cones later on :) i used vegetable oil to grease the cupcakes baking pan, and we added the cake mix into the baking pans, and i put the cupcakes into the oven to bake :) The cupcakes were baking nicely :)

As the cupcakes were baking, i opened up the ice cream and sugar cones, and began to make some ice cream cones :) The kids were very excited, and picking out the flavor of ice cream they wanted :) Holly and i had ice cream cones too :) We love these special spirited times in the kitchen :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, in our kitchen :) We began to get ready to make the pickled banana peppers :) We love these nice foods, and are so happy we've been able to make lots of banana peppers this season :) i got the vinegar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, salt, sugar, brine cooking on the stove :) i washed, and sliced the 14 peppers we picked earlier, and began to add the banana peppers rings into the jars :) Once the brine came to a boil, i added 2 butterknives into the jars, to help protect the jars, and i carefully poured the brine over the banana peppers, and put the jar lids onto the jars, and within 15 minutes, both jars lids popped and sealed :) We now have made, 8 jars of banana peppers this season :)

The cupcakes finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) we did some cleaning up on the kitchen, and then got ready to decorate the cupcakes :) We added vanilla frosting onto the cupcakes :) we made lots of nice cupcakes :) the goodies all came out great today :) We're very happy and excited, enjoying some fun baking friday adventures, especially during these golden days of summer time :) i thanked the kids, and Holly for helping bake :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) Lots of great baking, cooking, and grilling this week :) We love hearing about the goodies, and foods you all bake, cook, and grill :) We're all with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) this is so much fun, and very special :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) Vanilla Cupcakes, Ice Cream Cones, and Pickled Banana Peppers, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of the golden days of summer! :) We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) August 13th, 2021 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)

We're enjoying a nice day :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) my family, Holly,and i are doing ok, keeping healthy, and are in good spirits :) it was so nice baking goodies today, and also pickling more banana peppers :) we look forward to continued summer time traditions :) The weekend is arriving with some great spirit :) We love the weekend's :) Tomorrow, we're going to have a birthday party for Taylynn, she's turning 14 :) We're gonna have a birthday party for her here at home :) Holly and i are gonna watch a few movies on saturday too :) on sunday, we're going to Alyssa's and family's home, to celebrate Alyssa's and Aj's marriage :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, celebrations,and pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :) Holly and i are gonna tend our plants this weekend too, and enjoying some nature walks :) There's lots more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 episodes of Most Haunted show :) We love our fun, friday night paranormal party night's :)
