"donuts! donuts! donuts!"- my little nephews Mikey, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, smiling sharing, awesome happy hearts Valentine's themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) it turned into a baking friday party!!! :) my niece Alyssa said, "make some fried dough with cinnamon and sugar!" :) we were having a baking friday party, and the kids were all so very excited, as they were eating some donuts ,with frosting and sprinkles! :) they were cheering, "donuts! donuts! donuts!" hehe! :) so cool! :) one of the best, and sweetest times we've ever had, baking goodies! :) we're so happy and excited! :) even little baby Hunter was eating sprinkles! :) awww! :) this is awesome!!! :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today, Kayla, Mikey, Brayden, Jacob, Colby, and i baked heart shaped sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, and we also made heart shaped donuts, with frosting, sprinkles, and we even made some fried dough, for my niece Alyssa and everyone :) everyone is digging right into the goodies! wow! :) this is so cool! :) We had an amazing, awesome fun time today, making all of the treats! :) i saved a donut and a cinnamon roll for this evening :) the treats came out great! :) the kids were so excited, baking the treats :) we had the deep fryer going, sharing lots of smiles :) my niece Alyssa said, "chris, we gotta make some garlic buttery knots sometime!" :) i said, "definitely! ":) awww! :) We love these awesome times, and all of the great memories being made :) We're so happy and excited! :) It's Valentine's day weekend, and so much more to look forward too :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a wonderful day :) i've been thinking of you all often today :) It's that time of the year, February, and Valentine's day weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) Each year, we love to have a special Valentine's day themed baking friday adventure :) today, we got the baking friday crew together, for some awesome fun in the kitchen :) this morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining, with a golden bright sunrise :) i wished my family and friends, a happy baking friday :) Thank you all so very much, our dear angel friends, for your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) you all are so nice, and sweet :) We were all very excited, for this awesome new day, and the arrival of the weekend :)
it was a sweet morning :) i bundled up for my nature walk, gathered lots of goodies for the birds, and squirrels :) it's very wintery cold outside, i didn't stay out for too long ,but did see some birds, and they are so happy, to be gathering goodies :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) It was around mid-morning, when i began to gather our Valentine's day themed decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin to set up, and decorate our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) i love decorating :) over the years, my family and i have recieved some lovely Valentine's day cards, gifts, and treasures :) i made our kitchen glow, with the colors of red and pink, for Valentine's day :) this is awesome, and part of the great baking friday tradition : )We also love to use our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more baking friday supplies, including our sweet cookie cutters, and sprinkles :) our baking friday supplies, are always a very special part of our cooking, and baking each day, and week :)
We have a very special shoutout, for my dear, and lovely mom, and dad :) they went shopping today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) It's so nice, and sweet of them :) during mid-day, i enjoyed my lunch, cabbage soup, with a ham sandwich, and also went outside for another nature walk :) it got up to about 25 degrees, it felt much warmer than earlier this morning :) During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) Alyssa and the triplets came over, shortly before 3pm :) i gathered some more of our baking friday supplies, and went back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations for our super fun adventure :) i was feeling very spirited, and excited for the adventure :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school, and Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) we were all gathering around :) earlier i had made some donut dough, so that the dough could rise :) i also texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :)
i got our deep fryer heating up, and turned on the oven :) we were all gathering around, and very excited for our super fun adventure :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in our kitchen :) We were all set, and ready to bake! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) It's time to bake! bake! bake! :) We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began, to prepare the heart shaped donuts :) the dough i made earlier, had rised a lot, and was all set :) the kids were all excited :) Everyone got their own portion of dough, to make the heart shaped donuts :) we used our nice cookie cutters :) i began to put the donuts into the deep fryer, one at a time ,and had a metal strainer spoon to use :) the vegetable oil was heated up nicely :) The kids were so proud of the heart shaped donuts :) i said to the triplets, "yes, you get to have some donuts" :) they all smiled, cheered, and said, "donuts! donuts! donuts!" :) hehe! :) awwww! :) Kayla was helping, she's a great helper, we've been teaching the kids about baking, and Mikey is a great helper too :) he loves to teach the triplets what he has learned about baking :) the triplets are great helpers also :)
We got a nice can of pillsbury cinnamon rolls, i got a free coupon in the mail, my mom and dad picked them up at the store :) we got the cinnamon rolls baking ,they came with some nice icing too :) sweet!!! :) We were rocking and rolling in the kitchen! :) woot! :) the cinnamon rolls baking, donuts frying :) i put some of the donuts on a plate when they finished frying :) my mom, sister Jenn, and Alyssa were coming out into the kitchen from time to time :) this was awesome! :) my niece Alyssa wanted us to make some fried dough with cinnamon and sugar too :) i said, you got it! :) awww! :)
the kids were having so much fun, and we were all helping eachother, as we got the cookie dough set :) Kayla picked out the best egg ever! :) awesome! :) the kids were all enjoying super stirring the ingredients, they used the cookie cutters to make the heart shaped cookies :) more and more donuts were finishing frying, and the cinnamon rolls finished baking too :) everyone was very excited, lots of great spirit, and sharing lots of smiles in the kitchen :) this was so nice, and one of the best, awesome fun times we've ever had during baking friday adventures :) We got the cookies baking in the oven, and i began to prepare the frostings, for the donuts, and cookies :) i put some vanilla frosting into a bowl, and heated it for about 45 seconds :) i let the frosting sit for a little while, and then dipped the donuts into the frosting :) The kids were all gathering around, Kayla and i gave them some valentine's day themed sprinkles, and they had so much fun, decorating the donuts :)
They were smiling, we all were, and it was so cool! :) little baby Hunter came out into the kitchen, and he had some sprinkles, he was smiling, and he was looking at the plate of cookies! hehe! ) i think we got a little cookie monster! hehe! :) he loves cookies :) we decorated the cookies when they finished baking, and cooled down, with the frosting, and sprinkles :) we also made some fried dough with cinnamon, and sugar, with the extra dough we had :) it was so nice :) Alyssa, Kayla, my mom ,and i had a piece of fried dough :) it came out really good :) the kids were all digging into the donuts, cinnamon rolls, and cookies :) awww! :) everything came out great! :) it was so nice! :) i thanked everyone, for helping :) it was so cool, and really neat, how everyone joined in, on the baking friday fun :) we look forward to baking many more goodies :) i got a nice donut, and cinnamon roll to enjoy this evening, i'm brewing an iced coffee, CHEERS!!! to baking friday! :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) it's so much fun! :) We love hearing about the nice goodies you all cook, and bake throughout the week :) we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could have a big baking friday picnic! :) there's many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) Valentine's day heart-shaped sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls, and donuts, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the beautiful spirit of Valentine's day :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) February 12th, 2016 :) Happy baking friday everyone, and Happy Valentine's day everyone! :)
