baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and cozy warm, Valentine's themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) we had the kitchen cozy warm, as the snow and winds are upon us outside, the Blizzard is rolling through New England right now! We're all doing ok, keeping warm. i just brought outside a huge bowl of pizza slices for our nature animal friends! :) they've been around all day gathering goodies. :) the snow and winds are picking up out there. brrrr! brrrrr! it sure was nice getting the kitchen cozy warm today. :) We had a super fun time, getting the flour flying in the air in the kitchen! :) It's a cozy warm baking friday adventure in the kitchen! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and i baked heart shaped chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and snowman themed sugar cookies! :) we had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen, like the snow is flying through the air outside! :) Little Michael was with us in spirit today. :) he's home with his mom and dad, Jenn and Mike. :) they're baking goodies too. :) it's a great day to bake goodies, as there's a Blizzard snowstorm outside. We've been watching it snow, the winds are really picking up out there. my mom just gave us some nice extra slices of sausages pizza to slice into nice portions to put outside for our nature animal friends. :) we've been stocking up our yard all day, with pizza, popcorn, bread, and peanuts. :) there's lots of birds and squirrels stocking up. We want them to have enough goodies to help them make it through the Blizzard. This is a very dangerous winterstorm. by evening/tonight, the visibility is going to be very bad, and our state has began to close roads, and businesses. schools are closed today. they're calling for possibility of 2 to 3 feet of snow. power outages are possible. if we lose power here, our dear, and lovely friend Maria (Love4You) mentioned that she would gladly help keep my hugbook updated with updates. :) it's very nice, and sweet of her. :) We're very hopeful the power won't go out. this evening, i'm gonna make a video of the snowstorm, and going to take lots of pictures tomorrow. We can only imagine, how wild it's gonna get out there tonight, when the full force of the storm is passing through New England.
my family and i are thinking of everyone, and we hope everyone is keeping warm, and safe from the severe winter weather. my mom's been in touch with my grandma. she's ok, and is prepared :) We're expected at least another 18 to 20 hours of snowfall here, it's been snowing since around 10am this morning. we hear the winter winds beginning to flow into our state. We've got NBC Connecticut chanel on, and are keeping warm, safe. :) We hope everyone is well stocked up on goods. This is a massive snowstorm, from NYC, CT, RI, MA, all the way up to Maine. this is a huge snowstorm bringing lots of snow and winds. it sure is a great day to bake some goodies in the kitchen. :) we've been planning a nice Valentine's themed baking friday adventure. :)
i'm feeling better this afternoon, regaining some nice focus, and relaxation in my spirit. :) Thank you all so very much, for your wonderful well wishes, support, and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. :) You all are wonderful friends. :) We appreciate you all, and will always be here. :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and family a happy baking friday, and shared your wonderful baking friday wishes with them. :) You all are very nice and sweet. :) my day today, began with a nice nature walk. :) i put popcorn, and lots of bread all around our yard. :) The birds, crows, squirrels, all gathering goodies. :) my mom and dad got some peanuts too, i put some peanuts out there, and some pizza this afternoon. :) my dad and Lisa sometimes bring home lots of extra pizza from domino's, and we had some extra to put outside for our nature animal friends. :) we love taking good care of them, to help them during these severe weather events. warm hugs.
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dad, and niece Alyssa. :) yesterday they went out to the store and stocked up on goods, including some nice baking friday supplies. :) Thank you dad and Alyssa, so very much. :) With Schools closed today, Kayla and Taylynn got to help out with decorating our kitchen with a beautiful Valentine's theme. :) it looked awesome! :) i put my nice Valentine's greeting, and our Valentine's gifts, decoratives, and treasures. :) We used our lovely Valentine's table clothe. :) our kitchen was glowing with the Valentine's colors of red and pink. :) i cooked a nice lunch, and this afternoon enjoyed some time here on DS, writing to friends, we also watched coverage of the winterstorm on our local news. We were keeping updated on the latest happenings. Around 1:45pm,i went out back out into our kitchen, and put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations for our super fun adventure. :)
Kayla and Taylynn have been having so much fun today, enjoying their snow day. :) They played Mario Party game, and they also been watching tv. :) around 2pm, i asked them if they'd like to begin baking goodies. :) they said, "sure!" :) awww! :) we began to get ready to bake. :) We were all set, and ready to bake some yummy goodies. :) i wore my nice apron that our dear, and lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) mom sewn for me :) we also use our wonderful kitchen oven mits, towels, and kitchen pot holders. :) We get lots of wonderful use, from these nice gifts each week. :) We think of you all often during our baking friday adventures, and you all are always right there with us in spirit during our adventures. :) We want to take this time, to thank you all so very much, for joining us in our kitchen each week and for welcoming us into your kitchens. :) this is so much fun, and very special. :) i texted friends this morning to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake! bake! bake! :)
We first began by preparing the chocolate chip muffins. :) We had a nice box of muffins mix. :)This was gonna be so nice. :) We had the kitchen cozy warm,my mom was joining us in the kitchen. :) She said, "we're baking during a blizzard!" :) awww! :) Taylynn said, "i love Valentine's day!" :) awww! :) we were thinking of my little nephew Michael. :) he's been saying "uncle!" :) awww! :) we know him, Jenn and Mike are having fun baking goodies at their home today, and next week little Michael will be able to join us for a baking friday adventure when the weather is better. :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She said, "coming right now!" :) awww! :) Kayla opened the fridge, and selected the eggs. :) She and Taylynn love to help. :) they're great helpers. :)
 
We began to add the ingredients into the bowl. :) Kayla and Taylynn each added in an eggs, and we got some spoons. :) We began to stir and stir! :) Super stirrers! :) We were having lots of fun. :) We were sharing smiles, and laughs. :) Kayla and Taylynn have a game where they love to make a funny face! :) hehe! :) We were enjoying our baking friday adventure :) we used our nice heart shaped baking pan, and Valentine's themed cupcake cups. :) We were scooping the chocolate chip muffin mix into the pans. :) we made 12 nice muffins. :) i put the muffins into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) oh my! :) sweet chocolately goodness! :) our kitchen was cozy warm, and smelled like chocolate! :)
my mom said, "hey,i've got some of those ready to bake snowman cookies" :) Awww! :) She gave us the package of snowman cookies. :) Thank you mom! :) We put the cookies onto the baking pan, and the goodies were baking so nicely. :) it was so nice and sweet of my mom to give us those nice cookies. :) as the goodies were baking, we began to prepare the sugar cookies. :) it was flour flying time!!! :) hehe! :) We love this tradition. :) We got flour on our hands, and clapped our hands, we had the flour flying in the air like the snow flying through air outside. :) we added an egg, and extra butter into the cookies mix, to make it extra buttery cookies. :) the muffins and snowman cookies finished baking. :) i brought them out of the oven, once they cooled down a bit, my mom and i each had a cookie :) yum! :) delicious! :) Kayla, Taylynn, and i used our nice heart shaped cookie cutters to make nice shaped cookies, and baked 2 pan fulls of cookies. :) it was so nice. :) we took a little break, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen. :) The sugar cookies finished baking. :)
Kayla, Taylynn, and i prepared the frostings. : )We made pink frosting, and yellow frosting. :) Kayla and Taylynn made the perfect colors. :) we let the cookies cool down, and then began to decorate. :) we were sharing smiles, as we decorate the cookies. :) We made a D and S themed cookies, and cookies with our initials, K, T, C :) awww! :) we were showing my mom the goodies we baked. :) We had so much fun baking today. :) baking during the blizzard snowstorm outside. :) we have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too. :) i thanked Kayla and Taylynn for helping. :) i said, "cool dudes, baking friday!" :) awww! :) they're having such a fun snowday. :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. : )We're fully prepared, and ready for the worst of the winterstorm. the news, and our local weather said that the most severest of the weather will be from around 7pm this evening through tomorrow morning. we're stocked up on goods, flashlights, and batteries, just incase we have power outages. we're hopeful that we won't lose power, but just incase, it's good to be safe and prepared. we're hoping and praying that everyone is ok, safe, and keeping warm. :) i'll definitely keep everyone updated on how things are going with the storm. they are saying about 18 to 25 inches of snow here, with heavy winds. We're keeping warm, and will be keeping in touch with everyone, and hopefully power will remain on. BIG GROUP WARM HUG :) i've been doing really well this week, with taking better care of myself. :) i'm feeling more spirited, hopeful, and healthy. :)
i want to continue this nice healthy eating/exercising lifestyle. :) i've been drinking over 50oz of water a day since wednesday, and eating more fruits and vegetables. :) i've also been improving my snacks choices too. :) i'm very happy, and thankful to be feeling better, and to be taking better care. :) This upcoming weekend, we'll be home, as it's gonna be snowing a lot, and it'll be a nice weekend to keep cozy warm indoors. :) i want to do some writing, taking pictures, and making a video of the snowstorm. my family and i want to take this time, to thank you all so very much,for all that you do for us. :) Your very special friendships, your amazing love, care, support, guidance, encouragement, and for all of your thoughts and prayers. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) We cherish, and treasure your friendships. : )Tonight, i'm goingto have a baked sweet potato, cantaloupe, iced coffee, and going to call our dear friend Holly. :) We love to talk, and watch ghost adventures. :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel. :) there's many more nice times to look forward too. :) my family and i hope everyone enjoys a safe, peaceful, and nice weekend. :)
