baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet wholesome, Thanksgiving themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) sharing smiles, laughs, and sweet wholesome and heart warming times in the kitchen, baking treats, and talking about Thanksgiving. :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday treats. :) This was absolutely awesome!!! :) it's Thanksgiving time! :) a sweet time of the year. :) Today, to celebrate Thanksgiving week, we had our annual Thanksgiving themed baking friday adventure. :) It's become a sweet tradition over the years, the friday before Thanksgiving week arrives, we love to decorate our kitchen with our beautiful Thanksgiving decoratives, and decoratives, and we bake some nice treats. :) This is such a sweet, and very special time of the year. :) We love celebrating these times with everyone. :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) my family and i are so very blessed with, and thankful for your friendships :) We want to take this time, to thank you all so very much, for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens. :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my little niece Kayla and i baked Thanksgiving Turkey themed Sugar Cookies. :) Taylynn is a little under the weather, she has a cold. god bless her heart. She did join in for the decorating today. :) awww! :) She's taking good care, and is feeling better than yesterday. :) get well soon Taylynn. :) She's one of our little bakers. :) She was happy to get to join us when we decorated the cookies today. :) i said, "Taylynn, you can decorate my turkey cookie" :) She smiled :) awww! :) along with baking the turkey cookies, we also baked some extra sugar cookies, and some chocolate chip cookies. :) We had the baking friday party rocking and rolling in the kitchen! :) You all were right there with us in spirit. :)
It's Thanksgiving time. :) lots of sweet preparations, and planning for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. :) it's a very wholesome, and heart warming time, as family's and friends come together, gathering, sharing festivities, traditions, and also pitching in to help others, whether it's donating turkey's, canned goods, and other perishable foods at the stores, and helping everyone to have a very special Thanksgiving. :) it's the spirit of the holiday, thanksgiving. :) coming together, making the holiday special for eachother, coming together, to celebrate a tradition, and a holiday that has touched the hearts of so many people over the years :) a time for thankful blessings, giving thanks, the sweet parades on thanksgiving, and all of the cozy warm feelings within our hearts, as we celebrate together, an amazing holiday of love, care, and giving thanks. :)
my family and i love this time of the year, and have so many sweet special memories of Thanksgiving over the years. :) gathering around the table with loved ones, sharing moments of joy, and feeling the warmth within your heart, is one of the most very special gifts, and blessings of the season. :) Over the years, our friendships have grown so much, and blossom very beautifully every day, and my family and i want to thank you all so very much, for welcoming us into your hearts. :) You all are in our special place in our hearts too. :) We all are like a family here on DS. :) The way we have connected, all we share, all we have experienced together with our friendship. :) At our table on Thanksgiving, your spirits will always be, and our spirits will be with you all too. :)
This morning, i wished my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes. :) Thank you everyone, so very much. :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet. :) We enjoy such a sweet joyful time, celebrating this very special tradition with everyone each week. :) it was a sweet morning. :) i gathered lots of yummy goodies, for our nature animal friends. :) peanuts, bread, and popcorn, and ventured outside for my early morning nature walk. :) i put lots of goodies all around our yard, for our nature animal friends. :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts. :) awww! :) i enjoyed a really wild nature walk, i made 2 videos during my nature walk to share with everyone. :) i'm going to include the videos in my journals this weekend. :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa. :) they went to the grocery store this morning and picked up baking friday supplies. :) it's so nice, and sweet of them. :) around mid-morning, i began to gather baking friday supplies, and our beautiful Thanksgiving decoratives, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure. :) it's part of the baking friday fun each week. :) Taylynn helped me decorate. :) The kitchen looked amazing, glowing with Thanksgiving spirit. :) i cooked a nice lunch, and early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends. :) around 2:45pm, i went back out into our kitchen, i began to cook some salsa. :) my dad bought some cans of tomato sauce, plus we have some nice frozen peppers from our garden. :) i got the salsa cooking, and put finishing touches on our kitchen preparations, for our super fun adventure. :) around 3:20pm, Kayla arrived home from school. :) She was so happy and excited to see the kitchen all decorated. :) She said, "Gobble Gobble! Thanksgiving time!" :) hehe! :) so cute! :) we were getting ready to bake! :)
Kayla, and i wore the lovely aprons that our lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) mom sewn for us and the apron that Deb (Stardust) sent us :) We also love to use our wonderful Oven Mits, Kitchen Towels, and Pot Holders, that our dear, and lovely friends sent us, from all around the world. :) We also use our nice journals. :) we love writing baking friday notes. :) You all are with us in spirit, during baking friday. :) You all are wonderful, and make baking friday so very extra special. :) i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, so very much for the nice texts. :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all ready to bake yummy treats! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) Today, we baked sugar cookies. :) it's one of our favorite treats, and perfect cookie to make the special turkey themed sugar cookies. :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) awww! :) She loves to pick out the egg. :) it's another sweet baking friday tradition. :) Kayla opened the fridge, and picked out the egg. :) awesome! :) we were getting the ingredients ready. :) We got a new bag of flour!!! :) flour time!!! :) we began to clap some flour in the air. :) We love to do that, it sets the scene for a wild baking friday! :) hehe! :) we began to add the ingredients to the bowl. :) it's a nice simple sugar cookie recipe. :) we add in a little extra melted butter to make the cookies yummy extra buttery! :) we love it! :) we got some spoons, and began to super stir the sugar cookie dough. :) Taylynn was walking around a bit, checking in on the adventure. :) awww! :) she's looking forward to being back to 100%, so she can get the flour flying in the air with us. :)
After we mixed up the sugar cookie dough, i then used butter to grease the baking pan, and sprinkled flour onto the pan to prevent the cookies from sticking. :) we spread the sugar cookie dough onto the counter with some flour, and then carefully used plastic butterknife to track around our hand, to make hand shaped cookies for the turkey themed cookies. :) we used spatula's to put the cookies onto the baking pan. :) i was saying to Kayla, "Hey Kayla, i'm giving you a high five!" hehe! :) and she said, "lend me a hand!" hehe! :) we love sharing baking friday smiles and laughs. :) i put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) we love the scent of buttery sugar cookies baking. :) as the cookies were baking, we did a little cleaning up, i put some extra sugar cookies, and chocolate chip cookies into the oven to bake. :) i also had my nice baked sweet potato fries baking. :) Kayla and my sister Lisa recently gave me some nice chocolate chip cookie dough they bought from the school fundraiser. :) we've been enjoying baking some fo the cookies from time to time. :)
While the cookies were baking, we made some nice different colored frostings. :) red, yellow, green, and blue, to decorate the cookies. :) Kayla and i were talking about Thanksgiving, and i shared a memory with her, of when i was a kid, and in 6th grade, we had senior citizens come to our school, and we got to serve the nice ladies and gentleman a Thanksgiving dinner. :) Kayla was so into listening to my memory, she said, "That is cool" :) awww! :) the cookies finished baking, we tried some chocolate chip cookies. :) The hand shaped cookies were cooling down. :) we were gearing up, to decorate the cookies. :)
Taylynn joined in, as we began to decorate the cookies. :) She was so proud, she got to help decorate the turkey themed cookies. :) we love to decorate. :) it's so much fun. :) we spread chocolate frosting on the cookies, then we spread the red, yellow, green, and blue on the fingers of the cookies, to make the turkey's feathers. :) The cookies came out great! :) we were showing everyone the cookies. :) it was awesome! :) We had so much fun today, baking the Thanksgiving turkey themed sugar cookies. :) i thanked Kayla and Taylynn for helping, and thanked my mom and Lisa again for picking up baking friday supplies at the store. :) We love baking friday. :) next friday, we are going to be having a special requests themed baking friday adventure, for my mom and niece Alyssa, their birthday's are coming up. :) we have a feeling, that they will want some pizza and mozzrella sticks. :) There's many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too. :)
