We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla and i baked some superbowl football cookies, and brownies :) it was lots of fun! :) it's a snow day today, schools are closed, it snowed and snowed, until around 4pm. we woke up to the snow falling ,and we knew it was gonna be a snow day! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) we had a shorter team and crew in the kitchen today, but still enjoyed the spirit of our 9th annual, superbowl themed baking friday adventure :)
The superbowl weekend is arriving with lots of excitement :) we're so happy and excited, to celebrate the big game with everyone :) Denver Broncos vs Carolina Panthers :) all of the excitement of the superbowl weekend, festivities, traditions, celebrations, leading up to the big game. :) new commercials, and also the crowning of the NFL champions. :) the superbowl dream will come true, for 1 team, who wins it all, on sunday evening :) it's gonna be awesome!!! :) This morning, i wished my family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) thank you everyone, so very much! :)
It was a nice exciting morning, as it was snowing heavily outside, and the kids love snow days :) i remember when i was in school, and we had snow days, it was always awesome :) i bundled up for my early morning nature walk, and put lots of goodies around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i gathered our football decorations, baking friday supplies, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) i knew our crew was gonna be shorter in the kitchen today, as the kids were home today, with the heavy snowfall, but Kayla mentioned she'd love to help bake :) super cool! :) it was awesome, i had fun decorating our kitchen. :) Each week, i love to decorate, and we get lots of great enjoyment, from the baking friday tradition :) i cooked a nice healthy lunch, cabbage soup with sweet potatoes, and i enjoyed some time here on ds, this early afternoon :) Around 3pm, i went back out into the kitchen, i turned the oven on, and got our baking supplies all set :)
Each week, we get lots of great use, from our baking friday supplies :) we love our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more :) these special supplies are always a great part of our cooking, and baking each week :) i texted friends throughout the course of the day, to wish everyone a happy baking friday :) i was in a sweet football spirit :) i love superbowl sunday :) this upcoming superbowl 50, will be my 26th superbowl that i've seen :) i love the traditions, and celebrations of the biggest game of the year :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, for our annual kitchen bowl celebration! :) our 9th superbowl themed baking friday adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
Kayla and i began our super fun adventure in the kitchen :) we first began to prepare the rocky road brownies :) for Christmas, i recieved a nice jar of brownies to bake :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" : )She loves to select the eggs, and helping out in the kitchen :) She and i have been enjoying teaching Mikey, Colby, Brayden, and Jacob about cooking, and baking :) they've been learning a lot :) we love baking friday, it's a very special tradition :) it's amazing too, how Kayla has been baking since she was 6 years old, and she's 14 now, and has began to fill out applications for high school! wow! :) it's a big time for her, as she'll be going into high school next september :) She's very excited for the next chapter in her school studies :)
We super stirred the brownies and i used vegetable oil to grease the baking dish pan :) we poured the rocky road brownies into the pan :) the brownies mix came with chocolate chips and marshmallows :) i put the brownies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) i love that scent of brownies baking nicely in the oven :) next, Kayla and i prepared the sugar cookies :) we use our favorite sugar cookies recipe :) flour, sugar, butter, a little vegetable oil today we added to the cookie dough :) We stirred it, and definitely had some flour flying in the air :) i remember when we first began to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :)
We made some nice football shaped sugar cookies, i put the cookies into the oven to bake :) i did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and we took a little break, as the goodies were baking :) both the brownies, and sugar cookies baked nicely :) i brought the goodies out of the oven to cool down :) we had some chocolate and vanilla frosting to decorate the brownies, and cupcakes :) we love decorating :) Kayla and i decorated the brownies first, and then the cookies :) they came out really good :) i know the kids will be so happy and excited, to have some brownies, and cookies when they come over to visit this weekend :) it was so nice, baking goodies today :) i thanked Kayla for helping :) We love these awesome times, baking, and we have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) next week, we're going to bake some Valentine's day themed goodies :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) Lots of cooking, and baking this week :) we love hearing about the nice goodies, and treats you all cook, and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) i wish we all could gather to have a baking friday picnic :) Superbowl Football themed Brownies, and Sugar Cookies, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the amazing spirit of the superbowl :) We love you all so very very much! :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) many great memoriesbeing made, to always cherish, and treasure :) February 5th, 2016 :) Happy baking friday, and Happy Superbowl Weekend everyone! :)

It\'s snowing again here in VA but it isn\'t going to accumulate much. Glad I got to go food shopping yesterday before it got nasty out. It is still cold and the cold weather may continue into next week.
