We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today, Kayla, Mikey, and i baked a superbowl 48 themed brownie! :) Featuring the team colors, of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks :) We had so much fun! :) It's our 7th annual superbowl themed baking friday adventure :) it's Mikey's 1st superbowl baking friday :) we were tossing the football in the kitchen, Mikey said, "i pass the football!" awww! :) this is awesome!!! :) my family and i are absolutely thrilled, about celebrating the superbowl with you and your family's :) The Teams, have made it to the Superbowl Destination, and are ready to battle for the amazing Lombardi Superbowl Trophy :) This is superbowl time! :)
This is one of the most exciting weeks, and times of the new year, as we all get ready, for the Superbowl :) 2 teams have made this incredible journey, and 1 team, will fulfill their superbowl dream, and will bring home, the Lombardi Championship trophy :) Everyone who is watching the superbowl festivities, and game on sunday, we hope everyone enjoys :) it's a really neat day, where many people come together, family, friends, to tune in to the game, to watch football, the new commercials, and even the new puppy bowl that is on the animal planet channel every superbowl sunday now :) the superbowl foods, the snacks, the drinks, excitement, it's really incredible :) the excitement has been building up all week, and we are now, only 48 hours away, from the Superbowl 48, kick-off, between the Broncos and the Seahawks :) it's the top 2 teams, in the AFC and NFC, and we are gonna see such a classic game, matchup, of 2 great teams :) this is superbowl time! :)
Each year, we love to celebrate the superbowl, by having a special superbowl themed baking friday adventure :) This morning, a wonderful new morning was rising and shining :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) thank you everyone, so very much! :) we've been looking forward to our adventure all week :)yesterday, i printed out 4 pictures, 2 of the Teams logo/helmets, and 2 pictures of the Broncos and Seahawks fans, to put around our brownie/superbowl theme today :) i love being able to print these pictures for our kitchen decorations :) we were having a sweet rocking, and rolling morning! :) i went outside early, for my nature walk :) i put lots and lots of goodies all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feast :) Around mid-morning, i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and football decorations, and went out into our kitchen. :) we got an awesome superbowl preview paper, in our local newspaper this morning :) very cool! :)
Decorating, is party of the great baking friday fun each week. :) We do one of our biggest decorative displays, for superbowl time :) my sister Lisa treated us to some nice treats, at dunkin donuts, we all thanked her :) She got me a blueberry iced coffee :) we have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my niece Alyssa, and my dad :) they picked up baking friday supplies this week :) we all love to chip in, to get the baking friday supplies :) this year, we decided to bake brownies, instead of the cake, for the superbowl field theme :) we wanted to try someone new this year, by baking the sheet/pan of brownies :) i had lots of fun decorating our kitchen :) i used our awesome football themed baking supplies, that our dear, and lovely friends Deb (Stardust) and her family sent us 6 years ago :) We use these special decorations, each year :) our kitchen towel, football pot holders, football tray, and our table clothe :) We also love to use our wonderful oven mits, and our kitchen towels, and nice aprons my family and i have recieved, from our dear, and lovely friends, all around the world :) i cooked a nice lunch, enjoyed some phone calls with friends, and i also enjoyed some time here on ds this afternoon, writing to friends :)
Around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen decorations, and preparations for our super fun adventure :) Jenn and Mikey came over, we were getting our aprons, and tossing the football around :) Mikey was ready to help bake goodies :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school, shortly after 3pm :) Taylynn sometimes helps, and joins in, but has some weeks, where she just likes to watch us bake :) We were gearing up, for our adventure, we got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's a fun baking friday tradition :) We were all set, and ready to bake :) calling all cookie monsters and football fans! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! : )Brownies! :) Mikey opened up the 2 boxes of brownies, and i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 3 eggs ever!" :) she loves to pick out the eggs :) She opened the fridge, and selected the eggs :) awesome! :) Kitchen Bowl, #7 :) we were having lots of fun, adding the ingredients into the bowl :) We each cracked open an egg :) awesome! :) We were sharing lots of smiles :) i mentioned to my family, about how many friends, enjoy baking all throughout the week, and baking today :) it's awesome! :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) We SUPER stirred the brownies mix, and i used butter to grease the baking dish :) i held the bowl, and Kayla and Mikey used spoons to pour the brownies mix into the baking dish :) i then put the brownies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) yum! scent of chocolate brownies baking :)
it was then time, to make, the different colored frostings :) for the team colors, we made Orange for the Broncos, and Blue frosting for the Seahawks, we also made green frosting for the field, and saved some white frosting to make the yard marks on the brownie/football field :) we love to make the nice different colored frostings :) Mikey had some frosting! :) he sure does love the frosting :) As the brownies were baking ,we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) The brownies baked for about 25 minutes :) once the brownies had finished baking, i brought the brownies out of the oven to cool down :) We were all hanging out, enjoying a nice talk :) Once the brownies were cooled down, it was then time to decorate :) We spread the green frosting first, then the blue, and orange frostings, to make the endzones on the brownies, and then used the white frosting to make the yard marks :) the brownie/field looks great! :) i then put the team helmets pictures, and pictures of the Broncos fans and Seahawks fans around the brownie pan :) i then put my football player themed pin in the middle of the brownie :) We were showing everyone, i took pictures of the superbowl themed brownie, it came out great! :)

Sunday, is Superbowl 48, Broncos vs Seahawks :) my family and i are going to have a superbowl party :) We're so very happy, and thrilled about celebrating the big game with you all :) it's gonna be awesome weekend, with cooking, and preparing foods, and snacks :) i want to get a nice blueberry iced coffee on sunday :) It's the biggest game of the year, superbowl :) We can't wait! :) on sunday i'm going to be writing a Superbowl journal, sharing stories, and memories, of some of our favorite superbowls over the years :) i'm smiling and smiling :) SUPERBOWL TIME!! :) whooo! :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, our dear friend Holly and i are going to watch ghost adventures :) We love to watch the show :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderful friends, and are very nice, and sweet :)We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUPER FRIENDSHIP HUGS :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and exciting weekend :)
