baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, happy memorial day holiday weekend themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun, and spirit soaring! :) We had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today, as we celebrated our favorite tradition, and day of the week, baking friday :) Angel friends, my allergies have gotten very severe as the day went on. i'm gonna be ok, and gonna do my best here, writing out our adventure :) i'm resting, and we had a fun baking friday adventure today, and looking forward to blossoming into the upcoming holiday weekend :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Alyssa, the kids, and i baked some nice onion pretzels, and Patriotic, Stars and Stripes themed sugar cookies for memorial day holiday weekend :) it was so nice baking up some treats, and getting into the spirit of the upcoming holiday weekend :) We'll be thinking of you all often all throughout the upcoming weekend, and so excited to hear about your weekend, and sharing ours :)

Blossoming into the very special, and heart-felt, Memorial day holiday weekend! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i are thinking of you all, and we hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a nice day :) we want to take this time, to wish everyone a safe, and peaceful holiday weekend :) We'll be thinking of you all often, as we blossom into the weekend :) the memorial day holiday weekend is very special, and is the weekend that officially begins the countdown to the summer season :) From time outside, gardening, BBQ Grilling, and lots more :) We love the weekend, and the very special heart-felt and heart warming spirit of the weekend, and spring season :) We feel very blessed, and thankful to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in these very special heart warming moments, of holiday weekend's :) We'll all be with eachother in spirit :) spring season is in full swing, and summer is on it's way :) We're looking forward to some weekend movies, gardening, maybe some BBQ grilling, nature walks, taking in some awesome spring time nature sights :) our garden is just beginning to flourish as the season begins :) From our hearts, and home to yours, Happy arrival of the memorial day holiday weekend :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new spring day, rising and shining :) We're loving the sunshine, and special spirited energy of the nature that's blossoming all around :) it's been a nice stretch of sunny days :) a very special friday tradition i love very much, i wishing my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) We appreciate you all :) we're loving the spring time spirit, and blossoming into some of our favorite spring festivities, nature, gardening, and all of the heart warming moments we all get to share throughout the days and weeks :) Summer is right around the corner, and there's so much more to look forward too :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed to have this very special baking friday tradition in our lives, to look forward too each week :) the kids and us all countdown to baking friday, and we always can't wait to bake some awesome treats :)

As the new day was blossoming this morning, the birds were up early singing, and the sun was rising up :) i was getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) the sunshine, and nature greeting me :) i love these nice sunny spring days :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i was walking around, taking in the sunny nature sights, and sounds :) our plants, bushes, grapevines, and fruit trees are doing well and flourishing :) We're so excited about them doing very well :) We have perennial flowers, lillies, growing and our azalea bush is blossoming :) it's amazing, the beautiful joys of nature, and the peace it brings during these sunshine times :) we love our yard, and garden :) we got a free new trampoline for our backyard, for the kids to enjoy :) We're not gonna put the pool up this year, but the trampoline is a new addition to our yard, our old one was breaking down, and we're so happy we were able to get a new one, for free, from someone who was giving it away :) The kids will be able to enjoy the trampoline all spring and summer, especially during the BBQ cookouts, and my sister Lisa is getting a new waterslide for the kids :)

It was a sweet spirited morning :) we enjoyed a nice breakfast, and having some iced coffee :) cheers! to family, friends, good health, and enjoying the wonderful simple joys in life :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating for our super fun adventure :) it's lots of fun decorating :) today, i decorated with a memorial day spring theme :) our kitchen looked great and festive :) around mid-day, we enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and also prepared some pretzel dough :) we're so happy, and thankful we were able to get some yeast and flour :) both of those items have been sold out/rare in stores around here. We love baking pretzels, they're one of our favorite goodies to bake :) i love to prepare the pretzel dough about an hour and a half before our baking friday adventure, the dough rises nicely in our fridge :)

Shortly after 3pm, Alyssa, Jenn, and the kids came over :) We were all gathering around, greeting eachother :) the kids are so excited for summer time coming up :) they love to get ready for all of the summer time fun festivities, and traditions that makes summer time so much fun :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, and decorations we've recieved over the years, from family and friends :) i wear my apron, and we use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set and ready, and we were ready to bake some nice treats :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure :) We had our kitchen air condtioner on,the air helps me a lot, during these allergies days. we first began to prepare the stars and stripes sugar cookies :) baking friday teamwork! :) The kids love to help :) they get so proud, when they add the ingredients, super stirring :)we were helping eachother, adding the ingredients, and super stirred the ingredients :) We had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen, it's always a cool tradition :)

We used the star shaped cookie cutter, to make some nice shaped cookies :) i got 2 baking pans ready, i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we put the cookies onto the pans, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake :)Earlier, i had prepared the pretzels and used butter/onion flakes to drizzle onto the pretzels :) with my condition today with my allergies very severe, i felt it was best to get a head start on getting the pretzels baking early :) The pretzels came out great :)

we made some homemade frosting today, for the cookies, using half and half cream milk, and confetionary sugar, and food coloring. :) the kids love to add the food coloring, to make the colored frostings :) The cookies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven, and we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, i spent some time in front of the air conditioner to help sooth my sinuses :)
We decorated the cookies, with the frostings :) the cookies came out great) we had fun baking today :) i did have a hard time functioning with my allergies very severe, i'm resting here in our living room, we have 2 fans on. i thanked Alyssa and the kids for helping bake goodies :) We love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout for family and friends :) lots of great baking, and cooking this week, and some BBQ grilling too :) we love hearing about the foods and goodies you all bake and cook :) we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could gather ,and have a big baking friday picnic :)Stars and Stripes Sugar Cookies, and Onion Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, to all of our brave men and women who have served our country, and to the wonderful spirit of the season :) We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) May 22nd, 2020 :) Happy baking friday and happy memorial day holiday weekend everyone :)

Baking friday supplies! :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear and lovely mom and dad :) they went to the store this week :) They were careful, and safe :) They found some yeast, and flour :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) Thank you mom and dad, so very much! :) yeast and flour is very rare to find these days, it's been sold out at almost all of the stores here, and is very expensive online. We're so thankful to have some yeast, and flour :) We all love to chip in each week, to get the baking friday supplies :) We love this very special tradition in our lives :)
